  My personal experiences at this lake wasn't so memorable. The lake was beautiful but you didn't have much beach space. The furniture had a musty smell, and also appliances were outdated. The microwave and dishwasher did not work correctly.. If you are allergic to mold, rodents and different kinds of insects, be aware this might not be the cottage for you. I don't think I would ever go back. I think the price is to high for what you get.

  Recommended for: Families with young children, pet owners, age 55+.

  Owner response: I am sorry that this tenant had such a negative experience. There is no dishwasher at our cottage. The microwave to our knowledge functions perfectly. The stove and refrigerator were purchased 2 years ago. The lake was high early in the summer due to heavy spring rains, thus there was a little less beach space. Those who travel to lake areas are usually aware that their are insects, chipmunks and woodsy aromas, but I disagree that our furniture is musty. One of our couches was purchased just last year. Our family spends time at the cottage throughout the summer and we take pride in it being comfortable for us and our tenants

  Having the house so close to the lake made it very easy to stay there with kids. We didn't have to carry a bunch of things down, and we could run right back up to the house if we needed anything. The deck is beautiful, as is the screened in porch. We loved staying there, and we will definitely be back again!!

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children, pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

  My family and I have stayed at this cottage for 2 years in a row.. It has everything you will need.. and plenty of room. The fact that I was able to bring my dog with me instead of boarding her was a great benefit also. We look forward to booking this summer..

  We have rented this cottage for the past five summers, and we just love it here! This adorable cottage has everything we are looking for in a summer getaway! We love relaxing on the Newfound Lake beach. The water is always amazing. This cottage is also a wonderful place to bring the kids for a summer vacation! The rooms always looks beautiful when we arrive, and we just couldn't be happier! I definitely recommend renting here!
