Accommodations: House, 4 Bedrooms + Other (See Description), 4 Baths (Sleeps 8-10)
Keywords: House
The Tinos house was built below the most beautiful village, Triandaros, ten minutes from the ferry, town and from beaches. It is traditional Greek and European modern at once, with sweeping views of the sea and villages. There is a main house, with five bedrooms, three baths, and a guest house with one large room that has a living area, bedroom, kitchen bath with deck, views.
It is down ancient stairs from the village, about three flights from the car park. It has total privacy, it cannot be seen or heard from another house, it is a perfect retreat, or private getaway. The main house is architecturally beautiful, with dramatic terraces, secret shaded arbors, and maintained gardens. It is totally private and cannot be seen or heard from another nearby house which is rare in Tins or any of the Greek Islands.
The main house has a master bedroom suite, double bed and a marble bath with a terrace view, two bedrooms downstairs, double bed, 3/4 bed, kitchen, with private terrace and bath, and a guest bedroom, double bed, with private bath on its own private terrace. All bedrooms have total privacy. Each is separate with its own door, patio and bathroom. It is not best for very young children who need their own connecting bedrooms.
The guest house, two terraces above, is a studio with one large room with a sleeping area, double bed, kitchen, dining area and bath in a rock wall. It is perfect for a couple or family with one child. (there is a single bed too) It is a perfect lovers retreat, like the main house it has total privacy, you cannot see or hear it from anywhere. Both houses are usually rented from May-October, so reservations in advance are highly recommended. It too, is down ancient stairs from the village, about two flights from the car park. It has total privacy, sun, views, and is in nature.
The main house and guest house are rented together or separately. If you are a couple and want a low budget vacation, the guest house is perfect. If you want an expansive dramatic villa, the main house is fabulous. If you are a family or several couples, you can rent both and sleep eight.
Minimum rental one week. Less with cleaning fees added.

What a beautiful and relaxing place!

After traveling around Europe saying in hotels and dealing with the constant crowds, etc, we had such a relaxing and memorable stay here. Though it is easy to go to other places, we spent most of our vacation here, because it is beautiful and very comfortable. We bought fresh vegetables from the farmers' market and bread from the bakery and meat from the meat market and sat out on the pergola to feast while gazing out at the hillside with the ancient terraces, dovecotts, and olive trees. We rented a tiny car and drove all over the island; there is so much to see but never a crowd. Went surfing on the other side, diving off rocks, wandered through the villages, hiked on old roads (trails), visited museums and churches. But it is so nice to be able to come back to our secluded home away from home and just kick back. Each part of this house has its charm. The guest house is built into the hill and has exposed rock for one wall. The stable room is kind of like a Santorini house, curved white plaster and looking out at the sea. The main house is beautifully designed and decorated with local marble carvings, both modern and traditional. We look forward to coming back.
Recommended for:Girls getaway, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, sightseeing, families with young children.
