Our vacation home is beautiful and comfortable. Views of the lake and mountains are available from the living room, dining room and a small patio off the master bedroom. The tile floors are beautiful and practical with beach and lake lifestyle. Gourmet kitchen with granite counters are part of a great-room. Sit on the beach in our Adirondack chairs and enjoy the peaceful quiet and watch the bird show as ducks, swans, pelicans and others entertain.
Launch our canoe or 2-person kayak from our private beach or take a bike ride or walk around our beautiful resort. We are only 35 minutes from downtown San Diego, 15 minutes to beaches, great shopping, spas and Legoland and within about an hour of Disneyland, Knotts Berry Farm. We have baseball, football, casinos, watersports of all kinds, hot air balloons, Del Mar Horse Track and the Best Zoo and Wild Animal Park closeby. We have a visitor book with suggestions and maps to these and many other activities.

We stayed for 2 weeks at this wonderful lakefront home. As a frequent US tourist we have used VRBO before and know that the description of the property sometimes could be a little too fancy. Well, not in this case. The description was accurate and the house was much better than the photos shown. It was clean and well-maintained. The area is safe as well as relaxing. Within walking distance we found Bon Bon Frozen Yogurt at 1030 La Bonita Dr. We highly recommend a visit if you like Frozen Yogurt! Only 5 minutes away there are several shopping areas where you could found everything from Starbucks – Five Guys Burgers and Fries - Albertsons – Ross – Fry’s etc. In the same area you will find Restaurant Row & Market Place (360 Via Vera Cruz) with many restaurants you could dine at. The owners were very easy to work with and a pleasure to do business with. If you are looking for a relaxing and calm place, relatively close to the hectic business life, ocean beaches and recreation areas, Golf courses etc. you will love this place.Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.
