Unwind in one of two 780 square foot, plantation-style bungalows with vaulted ceilings, spacious bedroom, a king-sized bed with luxury linens, a beautiful walk-in shower with garden views, and a gracious 2,200 square foot lanai (deck) surrounded by fruit trees, flowers, and tropical plantings. Located at the end of the road in Hawaiian Paradise Park.
Our custom-designed and built vacation home was finished in June 2007 and has all the comforts of a five star hotel including fully-equipped gourment kitchen with Jenn-Air stove/oven, coffee grinder, pots and pans, knives, microwave, toaster, blender, and mixer.
All the furniture and linens are new. The living room has a 40ยจ Sony plasma television, DirecTV satellite programming, DVD player with DVD collection, a Play-Station 2 with games, iPod docking station and free wireless internet access! So bring your laptop.
Common outdoor entertainment area featuring in-ground 16 x 32 foot pool, two built-in barbecues, and a brick pizza oven. Sporting equipment including four mountain bikes, gloves and helmets, fishing poles, and golf clubs.
Located in Hawaiian Paradise Park (HPP) with easy drive to coast line, volcano, and botanical gardens. Local property managers will see to your every need including advice on local restaurants, activities, and personal services and assistance arranging adventure hiking, biking, and fishing trips.
We are only 30 mins to Volcano National park and 20 mins to the end of the road where hot lava enters the ocean. The best time to view the fireworks is at night at the end of the road.
Welcome basket of local products like: Kona coffee, jams, sauces, and a pineapple.

$100/night for 4 or more nights

Why the Owner Chose Keaau
We loved the old Hawaiian feel of the Hilo side and HPP still has the undeveloped slow life. We also found the neighbors are all interesting fun and supportive of each other.
The Unique Benefits at this
The beuatiful accomodations, pool and party patio are a perfect spot to see the volcano, snorkeling and sight seeing. People love that we are at the end of a quiet road next to a State Forest Reserve.
We looked a property on the ocean, but the waves are very loud durning the winter and there is more car and foot traffic as people fish the shore.
Our guest also are amazed by the tropical landscaping we have created with flowers and how nice the furnishing in both bungalows. One couple said they have stayed in vacation rentals all over the world and that this was best designed, furnished and overall experience they every had.

Living the good life.
My wife and I live/work in Los Angeles, but when my brother and his wife decided to move to the Big Island we bought an acre of land next door to them. We designed and built our houses at the same time. He lives full time next door with his wife, daughter and grand kids. They are also our vacation managers, there to answer your questions and to deal with any problems.
We get over three or four times a year to enjoy the sun and play in the garden.
