Can't imagine a better place for a getaway with family or friends. Spacious house with decks on every floor, both front and back. Tons of room for a cookout on the back deck and a great deck on the front of the house for just hanging out. We had 20 guests and there was room for all and with 6 bathrooms no waiting! Close to the beach and other attractions however you may never want to leave the house. With multiple levels there is an enourmous amont of space: yet you can seat 20 in the dining room if you all want to eat together. Property was in great shape upon arrival, clean and well maintained, everything was just as advertised. I would recommend this home to anyone and without hesitation would reserve again for another get together. Dealing with the owner was an added bonus:. always responded immediately to emails and answered any questions we had. IF YOU NEED A RENTAL FOR THAT SPECIAL VACATION - LOOK NO FURTHER - THIS IS THE PLACE.
Owner response:What a fantastic review. We thank you so much Mike and Kate Kelley

There were 28 of us celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary. It was our 1st complete family get-together away from home, but it will not be the last. The location couldn't have been more perfect. No one wanted to leave and absolutely everyone wants to do it again. We took over 2000 photos in case anyone would like to see them.

This was the fourth house we have stayed in at Beachwalk and it was clearly the best. The house was clean, well furnished and the large common area on the second floor plus the many porches worked very well for our large family. The guest house was the best we have rented at Beachwalk as it provides great additional living space for a large family. Beachwalk is an excellent place for a family vacation and the House of Kells and Celticknot is an excellent choice for enjoying the amenities of the area.

This home is perfect for a multi-generational family gathering. The house is very well-equipped. We cooked a full Christmas dinner here and had everything we needed in the kitchen. The decor is light and neutral, with everything in great shape. Lots of pillows, blankets and towels were available. You must cross the street to get to the beach, but there is a lovely boardwalk to the beach, it's extremely close, and the beach itself is flawless. There is a ping-pong table in the basement, but otherwise bring your own cards/games. Decent grocery shopping within a few miles (nothing w/in walking distance). A lovely park about a mile away is fun for the kids. Large, beautiful play structure 1/2 a block away. Owner very responsive and easy to get in touch with for pre-trip questions.

We recently rented this house and were extremely pleased! The house is very spacious and great for large groups(we had 19), and the beachwalk community is absolutly adorable. If this property is this much fun in the winter, I can't wait to see it in the summer! If you are looking for a large place to accomadate multiple families or just a large group.. look no further... this house is AWESOME!

Our family and extended family stayed in the main house. The house had everything we needed to make the visit enjoyable. The area is beautiful and the beach is perfect. I hope we'll be able to go again next year.

I recently spent a long weekend with my giant extended family at this facility. We were lucky to find this accomodation with it's many many amenities otherwise our famiy would have had to find a small resort to rent. What with the many people young and old, we were able to be together and yet separate. Absolutely super accomodations.

We scheduled a four generation family reunion. The house had everything we needed and more. It is close to the beach, child friendly, adult friendly and very clean. The many decks creates areas for smaller groups to hang out. We'll be back!

Thanks Mike and Kate for providing the perfect place for our recent family reunion. The house was perfect to hold our group of 20+ with plenty of rooms and patios to congregate and a great kitchen to cook all our meals and eat family style. We loved the short walk to the beach everyday and even got our older family members out on the sand. I can't wait to come back!

My family and I enjoyed a fabulous weekend here recently and the accommodations were beyond belief. This beautiful home is enormous and a very short walk to one of the best area beaches. Truly a magnificent home which I strongly recommend. Patrick Harvey

One week stay in guesthouse(celticknot)was perfect. All the amenities of home, merely steps to the lakefront path, view of Lake Michigan from top floor deck, and plenty of room for multi-generation entertaining. Celtic Knot/ House of Kells have practically unbeatable proximity to Lake Michigan. Beachwalk community rental includes access to playground, tennis court, lake kai/beach (with kayak rental avail), fishing pier, and two very clean pools (kiddie and adult) for "variety."
