The condo was a bit smaller than we thought, so we were a bit surprised when we first arrived. However, once we settled in, we all agreed that the size of the placemwas perfect!!! Small enough that the family was cozy, but enough room thatnwemcould each find our own space. Resort staff SUPER helpful, and friendly. Shuttle service, mountain and town, was AWESOME. This is our third trip to steamboat and it was definately the most comfortable and convenient. The apt is well equipped, contemporary and comfortably appointed, you will love it!!

Overall the condo was very nice! We had a great time! Close to the ski hill, great with the shuttle. The drinks and app night that the condo holds was great. The condo was fully stocked and had everything we needed! (except for trash bags). The hot tubs were also great. The only thing we would really change is the couch in the living room could use refreshing (it was very flat and sunken in).

Great condo.very comfortable beds and sofas. Even coffee was provided as well as basics for cooking. I would STRONGLY recommend owners removing personal items / things stored in closet since there was no room for our own and we had to leave our luggage etc. on the limited floor space. However this is an easy fix and if that were taken care of I would rent again. Great location, amenities etc. and nicely decorated.
Owner response:The "personal" items include extra bedding items/pillows, humidifiers, vacuum, pack-n-play, etc. which are provided for the convenience of our guests and are stored on the top shelves of the closets (with the exception of the vacuum). There is shelving and hanging space in the closets for personal items; however, closets are not suitable for storing several large suitcases. This is the first time owner has received such feedback from a renter in the 5 years of renting and intends to remove storage drawers under bunk beds to provide storage room for large suitcases in the future.

Our family of 7 had a great time in Steamboat and were very comfortable in the condo. The location was great and very close to the pool and hot tubs for after skiing. We never had to wait more than a minute or two for the shuttles. The kitchen is nicely updated and had everything we needed for cooking in several meals. We highly recommend this condo to others and hope to go back to it. Take advantage of skiing with the Over the Hill Gang if you are in Steamboat and want to ski with a great group of people 50+. They depart from the base everyday at 9, or at the top of the Gondola at 12:30. We've skied with them on two trips to Steamboat and will again on our next visit. We found information about them on the Steamboat website.

We had a great time skiing over Thanksgiving. The condo is well decorated and maintained and was well stocked for all of our needs. With two boys, it was nice to have several TV's so they could watch what they wanted and play their video games. The boys and I also had a great time swimming in the indoor/outdoor heated pool and hot tubs. There's nothing like getting out of the pool for a quick snowball fight and then jumping back in. :-) We really liked the location which is just a couple blocks from the Gondola. If you drive to Steamboat in the winter, you'll really appreciate the indoor, heated parking garage.

We very much enjoyed the condo and it was a pleasure dealing with the owners. The complex was nice and we loved the pool area and the social activities offered by the resort during our stay (including a happy hour and ice cream social). We would definitely stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay at Trappeur's Lodge. The condo was clean and had all the dishes and small appliances you'd ever need as well as bedding and supplies (toilet paper, shampoo, laundry detergent and paper towels). The listings descripton was accurate and all the photos of the condo are accurate. The only negative thing we can say about the condo is that we felt the deck could have been a bigger and it would have been nice to have air conditioning. We would stay in this unit again in the future! Lorna was also very helpfull and answered all our questions promtly. Thanks again!

we were in steamboat over memorial day weekend for the steamboat classic lacrosse tournament. a lovely weekend as always and this condo added to the experience. completely and impressively updated. very, very clean. fully-stocked with paper goods, decent toiletries (that was a surprise!), laundry needs, tennis rackets, a pack-n-play (which we accidentally forgot at home and were so happy to find!)...and more! on our last nite, we grilled with a few other families out at the pool area. 3 nice gas grills, a fire pit and even a set-up/party area...what a bonus. the kids loved being able to use the pool, hot tubs and even tried out the tennis. the location as great for us, too. close to grocery stores, playing fields, and a great neighborhood for a scenic and challenging run. the bunk room was a lot of fun for the kids that stayed in it...tho it was a tad bit tight for them and all their mess. i dont think they minded tho! lorna was extremely helpful and efficient thru-out. we'd definitely recommend this property to others! we'd be re-booking for next year, except for the fact we're moving out of state. perhaps we'll be back in the future just for this condo!

We had such a wonderful time in Steamboat! The condo was perfect for our family. It was everything you had explained; well stocked, close to town, tram service was easy, and much more. Your condo was the right size for our family of 8 and the complex was very nice. The children loved the little snacks in the afternoons along with the pool/hot tubs. The tram service was very convenient, we never had to wait long for service. Thank you for working with us on travel times and making your condo such a great place. We will definitely consider staying here again.

This condo was nicely updated and well maintained. We had everything we needed in the kitchen to cook meals and had supplies of all soaps, shampoos, cleaners, hairdryers and such. No need to go shop for any of this staples. Even sugar, teas and salt and peppers, cooking oil and such were included. While we have rented larger condos in the past, this one made up for it in location not only in the resort village itself, but in the complex. Right outside our door was a small, lovely lobby and ski lockers, but the hot tubs, fire pit and pool were just steps away as well. The resort hosted 2 free apres ski events with free hot appetizers, beer and wine while we were there and the staff couldn't have been more helpful, even though were were renting through VRBO. I would recommend this until to anyone. It was also a very quiet building with adequate parking available.

This condo was a great place for two families with two children each. We enjoyed the necessities already in the condo (e.g., spices, paper towels, toilet paper, dish washer detergent, etc.). We also enjoyed the free shuttle service provided by the condo company. We would highly recommend this condo to other travelers.

We stayed here for the Winter Carnival and had a wonderful time. The condo is beautiful and very well stocked, the kids really enjoyed having the bunk beds and their own bathroom. The pool and hot tubs were also a big hit, and only steps away. Lastly we loved the happy hour with drinks and snacks on Friday! We would highly recommend!

We stayed at this property in August 2010 and were very pleased. Condo was nicely decorated , very clean and well stocked. We really appreciated the pack and play and high chair for our 6 month old. Plenty of space to play and relax, both in the condo and throughout the property. Owners were prompt with their communications. Highly recommend! Would be great during ski season as well...close to the slopes!

Lorna, thanks again for sharing your place with our family. We had a great time in Steamboat, and your property is just beautiful. Really appreciated all of the "things" that made our stay more enjoyable (pack-n-play, fans, blender, booster seat, and a hundred other things). Conveniently located. Hope to make it back next summer...

We've stayed at many units in this building and none compare to this one. Every detail has been thought of in all areas. Anything you can think of that you may need is in a cabinet or a closet. We were so grateful for the backpack to take to the 4th of July parade (for the candy of course.) There were plenty of sheets, towels and pillows to accommodate all of us. The upgrades are a perfect touch! The only thing we missed was air conditioning but there are also plenty of fans to fix that problem. We would definitely stay here again, and we may next year for the 4th of July for our annual trip. Thank you!

We recently returned home from our fantastic 6 days in Steamboat and wanted to say how much we enjoyed the condo and our stay. The condo is very tastefully done and fully stocked with all of the essentials plus more (shampoo, soap, hair dryers, coffeemaker, spices, etc.). Just show up. We were very comfortable there and settled in quickly. The kitchen is fully equipped and we were able to eat in a couple of nights and make breakfast every morning. The location is great – a short shuttle ride to the Gondola Square. You could walk it if you like, but really not necessary with the shuttles running continuously. The Trappeur’s Resort was very nice with great amenities such as hot tubs, Après Ski on certain days, computer to run boarding passes, shuttles, heated underground parking, washer and dryers, etc. The Trappeur’s even has an arrangement to store your skis for free in the Sports Stalker store at the bottom of the Gondola. Lastly, Lorna was excellent to deal with. From our very first email, she was professional and insured all bases were covered and answered any questions or concerns. This was our second visit to Steamboat and our first time in this condo. We would highly recommend staying at this condo and would book it again in the future.

The condo in Steamboat was wonderful. We had such a great time skiing and enjoying all the area had to offer. The condo was perfect for our needs. It was beautifully furnished, and comfortable. It was very nice to have all the products there in the kitchen and bathrooms. We loved the soft throws that kept us cozy on the sofa. And the unit was immaculate. We loved it, loved the location, loved the decor. We also loved the shuttle system. We did not rent a car, so we took the shuttle up to the mountain each morning, and took the Resort Quest shuttle downtown for dinner every night. They were great, and we were glad not to have to drive on snowy roads. That was a bonus, and we would not have gone out to dinner downtown every night if we had not had the shuttle to take us and return us home.

The condo was perfect and Lorna was wonderful to work with. We found the condo very well equipped with everything we needed. Trapper's is a nicely maintained and well run complex with continuous shuttles to the mountain or into town. We rented a car which sat in the garage all week. We would definitely recommend this rental.

Visited the snow and Steamboat Springs for the first time and loved it! The Condo was our home away from home. Very clean and was furnished with everything we needed. The resort was close to the lifts and the resort shuttle was very reliable. The staff was very helpful and friendly. I love the quaint downtown area and the dining was fabulous. We are already planning our next trip back to the condo.

Our stay in your condo over the Labor Day weekend was the best! The condo had plenty of room for our party of seven adults. The family room with the TV above the fireplace may be a little tight for a large group, but we don't go on vacation to watch TV anyway :) The condo is beautifully decorated and very clean. The linens and towels made me feel like I was in an upscale hotel. Having the shampoo, conditioner and body wash supplied was a nice surprise. We loved that the pool and hot tubs were SO close. There is a market within two blocks and the bike path into town is easy to get to from the condo. The deck off the family room is small, but very nice. There are BBQs available at the pool and the condo had everything we needed in the kitchen. It is hard to mention ALL of the nice things about this condo. We have already recommended this condo to our daughter and son-in-law, and would recommend it to anyone that wants to enjoy Steamboat Springs.

We had a wonderful stay in this condo in March. There were 8 of us for 5 nights and space was never an issue. There were plenty of extra pillows, blankets and sheets. Many nice extras like a humidifier, lotion, shampoo, conditioner, etc. And the kitchen was well stocked with every gadget and appliance we needed. I was a little concerned with how far the condo was from town, but that was never an issue. The Shuttle was super convenient, we never had to wait more than 10 minutes for a pickup, and it ran even more frequently than that in the mornings to the gondola. This was a great condo that I would recommend to anyone staying in Steamboat.

Excellent accommodations. We could not ask for better. We were seven (including two children) and were very comfortable. For those who like to cook, the kitchen is well equipped. The shuttle service from the condo to the slopes runs frequently. For the past ten years our group has been skiing in France, Switzerland and Italy and our conclusion is that Steamboat ranks among the best.

Comfortable, affordable, well appointed mountain condo. We were glad it was on the first floor which made it easy to enter and exit the building. The shuttle service was most convenient as the "walk to gondola" was not at all practical. We would recommend this VRBO rental.

Very nice accomodations. Clean and modern. Black Tie Ski Rental has a shack right out the Trappeurs door and the fellows take your skis as you get off the shuttle and have them waiting for you in the morning as you get on. The condo also has its own ski/boot closet right inside the front door and about 10 steps from the condo itself. Black Tie also brings your rentals to your condo. They're equipment is terrific. We made reservations on line with them and they bring everything to the condo. It's the best rental company out there. (No, I do not work for them) We would recommend taking the shuttle. It's not a bad walk but it would be difficult with ski equipment and boots. There are short cuts to walk to the gondola but they are not marked. A bit small for 10 unless the kids are little. (There are even outlet covers for kid safety) A+++ condo and resort.
