I am a single professional woman, working at an economic think tank and in graduate school. Hospitality is a virtue, and so I love renting out my apartment when I travel. I have met the most interesting people - couples traveling to DC for their daughter's graduation, coming in for college reunions, first-time visitors from across the country. All my guests have been very pleased with the lovely decor, accessibility, cleanliness, and location of the place. I hope that you will also come and enjoy it, and I will be most happy to make sure you have a truly pleasant stay.

My daughter and I stayed here for our sight-seeing trip to DC! What a wonderful place! Deborah was a most gracious hostess. Her home was ultra-clean, extremely inviting and spacious. Staying here gave us an opportunity to see life outside the downtown area, without compromising convenience. Metro train and bus took us everywhere we wanted to be. Would highly recommend to any of my friends wanting to visit DC.

My son and I spent a week in this apartment in June. It was wonderful! It's very cozy and decorated with a very eclectic flair. Perfect location. The neighborhood was great and close to Metro stops. Friendly front desk. I had hoped it would be available for the Inauguaration but . . . . Definitely would stay here again.

I went to college in DC and returned for my 20th reunion. This place is ideally located to all the top spots and public transit points. It was easy to navigate around sans car but also an easy jaunt via foot to the heart of Adams Morgan and Dupont Circle. To see the Washington Monument from the living room window gives pause. The building is well maintained, quite and friendly. I felt like it was a second home. The home-owner gave cool insights to coffee shops and ethnic restaurants. It was a perfect base for my stay.

My husband and I came to D.C. to attend a wedding. Our four day stay at this apartment added greatly to our visit. We were the envy of those guests who stayed in a hotel. We felt at home in this well kept and furnished apartment. We would certainly recommend to others. Bill and Elaine

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here last summer. It was a pleasure to come “home” in the afternoon after a day of sight seeing. The apartment is elegantly homey with beaded silk and velvet fabrics, gorgeous Tiffany shades, souvenirs and photos around. The kitchen is well equipped and we invited family members to share a meal or two with us. The location was very convenient for our needs. A grocery story and pharmacy are about two blocks away, bus stops are just a short walk and a ZipCar lot is behind the building. We hope it will be available for our next visit to DC and highly recommend it.

We had a great stay in this apartment and would highly recommend it: the location is great, the apartment itself is charming and very functional (you have a large desk to work on, a nice kitchen to prepare meals, spotless wireless, a very, very comfortable bed) and access to the rooftop pool is a great plus in the summer. The owner did everything she could to make sure that we had the best experience and we did.
