This lovely four bedroom, two and one-half bathroom home is located on one of Great Barrington's premier neighborhoods: Castle Hill. The master suite has a full bed, huge walk-in dressing room, and the master bath has a glass tile floor, an antique sink, and a claw foot tub with a stunning view of the gardens. Two of the 4 bedrooms upstairs have double beds and the other two bedrooms have queen beds. There is a second, large, light-filled tiled bathroom upstairs with and tub / shower combination. The living room has a stone fireplace and leads in to the large sun-filled kitchen. The kitchen has eat-in dining, a 6-burner with griddle Viking stove, a stainless Jenn-Aire refrigerator and cozy heated terrazzo-tiled floors. This open, bright kitchen opens up onto a large, private deck and stone patio complete with a Weber gas grill and outdoor seating for eight. The established perennial gardens and green lush lawn is completely fenced-in, private, and also has a swing set, sand box, and a child's playhouse. There is a mudroom entryway with a cedar closet adjacent to the two-car garage with auto door openers. There is also a pantry/laundry/storage room directly off the kitchen with a washer and dryer.

You are one block away from charming Lake Mansfield Park, one of the Berkshire's loveliest neighborhood swim parks around. In winter, the lake is frozen for ice fishing and skating. A quick five to ten minute walk has you are in the heart of Great Barrington, for shopping, galleries, restaurants, as well as a weekend Farmer's Market and David Grover sing-a-longs!
The Berkshires is known for its wonderful shopping, restaurants, galleries, live theater, hiking trails, swimming holes, and ski resorts. We pretty much have it all here and Great Barrington is central to all of these activities and more. Tanglewood, Jacob's Pillow as well as many wonderful museums are all within a shirt drive through the most stunning roadways in the Northeast.
