This newly remodeled home sits on a private wooded acre in a prestigious tennis community. The courts are free to renters and their guests. The quiet development boasts houses in the 2-3 million dollar range. It is located in the Northwest Woods off Hands Creek Road. Rafting is the main sport in the 20 x 40 heated sunny pool, especially in the morning, while you enjoy the music which is piped into the backyard. There is a two tiered deck with a gas barbecue, a teak dining set which seats 10 people, 4 teak lounge chairs and 2 umbrellas. Afternoons are for the beach, just minutes away.
The house sleeps seven. On the first floor are two bedrooms, one with a king sized iron bed with shabby chic bedding and TV, the other with two twin beds with hand painted headboards and custom made bedding. The full bath on the first level has a floor made of marbles (yes, the kind we used to play with), each one laid by hand. There is an Ercole mosaic dining table which seats eight, with a chandelier hanging over the table. The kitchen has all of the utensils and appliances you will need to cook wonderful meals. The two-story living room has two down filled couches, an entertainment unit which houses a 36" TV with DVD and premium IO cable and CD stereo sound system. There is also a wood burning fireplace and a skylight. There are three sets of sliding doors which open to the pool area. The entire living space offers beautiful hardwood floors with needlepoint carpets.
The upstairs master suite has a king size bed with vintage brass headboard and new top quality bedding. There are 12-foot ceilings, a balcony overlooking the pool and a 10-foot by 13-foot white marble bath with custom designed "L" shaped vanity. Seaglass is inlaid in the Thassos marble floor, as well as in the shower. There is a 36-inch TV with DVD player, premium cable and internet. The second upstairs bedroom has Ralph Lauren bedding and a balcony.
