This beautifully appointed home features a 'Great Room' with French doors that lead directly out to the covered patio area for the 'Sun Shy' and then to the solar heated pool and spa. The 'tropical look' landscape ads to the enjoyment of lounging around the pool or cooking at the built-in BBQ. Indoor entertainment is a 46' LCD HDTV in the 'Great Room', DVD player + Wireless Internet throughout the home. The home also has free unlimited long distance through out the US, Canada, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico!
French doors lead from the Master Bedroom directly to the pool and spa area. Relax in the spa or 'oversize tub' in the Master Bathroom and then get into the 'cozy' King-Size Bed for a GREAT nights sleep! The two guest bedrooms have their own bathrooms and Queen-Size beds. One of the guest rooms features French doors that open onto the courtyard and a private side door to the backyard! All bedrooms have their own TV's and there is also one in the kitchen.
The Kitchen features a large eating area that leads directly to the pool and spa. The kitchen also has built-in GE Monogram appliances: convection oven, convection microwave, dishwasher, trash compactor, and a five-burner gas cooktop. The kitchen has slab granite countertops and backsplashes. The home has an inside laundry room with large capacity washer and dryer, a utility sink, and granite countertop.
The community tennis courts are one short block away from the house. They can be used day or night!

Versailles is one of the desert’s newest and most desirable gated communities and conveniently located on Gerald Ford between Bob Hope and Monterey. Location - location - location! It is about 20 minutes from downtown Palm Springs’ popular Palm Canyon Drive shopping and dining district. Renowned golf courses, fabulous restaurants, and cultural activities are all nearby! The Agua Caliente Casino is located about two miles away, and the newest gathering place, 'The River' at Rancho Mirage offering fine and casual dining, a multi-plex cinema, and shopping, is just minutes away! The Westfield Shopping Mall, Cabazon Outlet Mall, The Living Desert Zoo & Gardens, Indian Canyons(hiking) and the Eisenhower Medical Center are just a short drive away; and don’t miss the El Paseo shopping district (the Rodeo Drive of the desert) and the College of the Desert weekend Street Fair.

This is a beautiful and spacious property on Paris Way and is well maintained and also well stocked (kitchen, bathrooms etc.). We rented two houses from Hal and couldn't have been happier. The pool and jacuzzi were wonderful and also we found plenty of floats and pool toys in the garage for the kids. Would definitely recommend. The very moment we drove up to the gate of this secure community we were excited, and we had every reason to be. What a lovely home we had rented. We were lucky enough to spend almost three months in this beautifully decorated, fully equipped & welcoming home. The gated community is a gorgeous and quiet neighborhood and very handy to all shopping and golfing. Our favorite feature of this home has to be the wonderful salt water pool and very private rear yard. Other than a 3 day trip to San Diego we spent hours in that pool every day we were there, and enjoyed many great BBQ's on the gas grill. We had everything we needed in both a well stocked home and great location. Unlimited long distance calling allowed me to stay in touch with family back home daily, something I really appreciated. We consider this home one of our best vacation finds. I must end this by stating what wonderful hosts Hal and Pat are. From hello to so long they were nearby if we needed anything. Simply put (I think it's already been said) Hal and Pat are just "good people", who we plan to revisit as soon as possible.Recommended for: People with disabilities, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, age 55+.

We have stayed here for the second year running through August and had a fantastic time. The house is clean and well stocked, we had everything we needed. The pool and garden area is just magnificant, the photos don't do the property justice, its wonderful! Hal and Pat made us most welcome, nothing was too much trouble. We recently had the pleasure of staying at the Versailles property in Rancho Mirage and cannot say enough good things about it. From beginning to end it was a pleasure dealing with Hal. The property had everything you would expect in a home as far as extras in the kitchen, beach towels, etc. We booked very last minute and found his rates for what you get VERY reasonable. He is very informative and before you can ask a question he has already answered it. Ammenities are close by this gated community. We will definitely deal with Hal again.Recommended for: Girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, age 55+.

We had a wonderful stay at your house. We were surprised that it was so well stocked with everything possible, even toothpaste! We would stay here again. Super clean, everything worked. We decided to stay and eat most days as the BBQ was great!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, age 55+.

We are 3 couples that have been friends for more than 30 years. We had a wonderful weekend, the home is beautiful and is fully stocked with everything that you could possibly need. My husband and I stayed at this home with our two children and my sister. The bedrooms all had their own tv and bathroom, which makes it a great place to stay with extended family or other friends or couples. The kitchen had everything you could ask for to cook a great meal, and we were even able to celebrate Canadian Thanksgiving in Sunny California! The pool and hot tub are in a lovely and quiet backyard, and there is plenty of room to sit and enjoy an afternoon. My three year old loved it! As a parent with a small child, I also liked the fact that all doors have alarms attached, an added safety feature when dealing with children and water. We enjoyed the location of this home; it's close to Wal Mart, Costco, and Pavilions. As well as The River Entertainment area, the main mall, casino, and famous In-N-Out Burger! Lastly, the owners, Hal and Pat, are very easy and friendly to work with. They were a phone call away if we needed anything, and quick to offer any ideas and tips about the house or on staying in the area. Thanks again for a wonderful vacation!Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers, age 55+.

The house is situated on a quiet and very well maintained estate with excellent links to the freeway,shops and resturants. The property was clean and well-maintained and extremely well equiped with modern appliances and had everything we needed ie towels linen,crockery etc. The owners were very friendly and only a phone call away so any questions we had were answered promptly. I would definately recommend this property to a friend or relative and plan to return sometime in the near future.Recommended for: Families with young children, sightseeing, age 55+.

We had a fantastic stay Memorial Day weekend. The home was in a centrally located area, nicely decorated and sparkling clean. The pool and spa was fantastic after a long day of shopping. One night we went to the nearby casino for some late night entertainment. We travel to Palm Springs a few times a year and by far, this is the nicest home we have rented. We can't wait to go back! About the owner: My name is Hal Friedlander and I am a retired real estate broker - partner is Patricia D'Angelo and she is a retired United Airlines flight attendant. We started off with 26 Paris Way in Rancho Mirage as our first vacation rental. We now have five! We have two other properties in the Versailles tract of Rancho Mirage. They are the identical floor plans (3 Bdrm & 3 Bath homes)to VRBO# 129211 - One is VRBO# 252310 and the 3rd one is on HomeAway# 18864 (which is owned by VRBO) and we also have a 3 Bdrm & 3 Bath Townhome VRBO # 276296. There are also two identical 5 Bdrm 4.5 Bath homes (VRBO# 252043 and VRBO# 212751) that are in Palm Desert. Why the Owner Chose Versailles:
We chose to buy our vacation rentals for a few reasons. (1) because we live close to them and can manage them easily. (2) Most of the renters are snowbirds and the busy time of the year is from October 1st through May 31st. That's when it's the most wonderful and comfortable weather and we love staying here in the California sunshine and managing our properties. Off season is when we travel. We like to get out of the desert when the temperatures reach over 100 degrees - and with Patricia having retired from the airlines - it makes it easy for us to travel!
