This luxurious 140 square metre apartment can accommodate up to nine guests dispatched in four bedrooms plus a 28 sqm Master bedroom with access to a private terrace with open air jacuzzi. There are many balconies and terraces, north and south facing. The furniture is design (Le Corbusier, Leolux), the linen is top quality, soft towels and fine sheets. As the owners live in this apartment and only rent it during their holidays, it is very fully equipped--kitchen, library, collection of CDs and DVDs, games, home cinema, Nespresso machine with coffee offered, etc...
The apartment is located in the 14th district of Paris, which is both residential and animated. All kinds of shops (fine food, supermarkets, bio market, clothes ...) and facilities (pharmacy, post office, metro, bus, taxi, brasseries, cinema ...) are within a short walking distance.
The street is very calm since it is part of one of the very few "green areas" of Paris where cars run at a low speed and above all are redirected towards main axes. The apartment street opens on the avenue du Général Leclerc, a big avenue which goes strait up into the heart of Paris.
Four hundred metres from the apartment is the beautiful Parc Montsouris where you can have a walk, jog in the morning, eat on the lawn, etc.
You can catch public transports down our street. We have metro line 4, the only one in Paris which crosses every other line, so that you are sure not to take more than 30 minutes to go anywhere in Paris, many buses (28, 38, 68, 62, 88, la Traverse), the brand new Tramway (T3), and at a 10 minutes walk when you go through the Parc Montsouris, you can catch the RER B. They are remarkably practical and complete, especially the buses, since most of the time, they directly lead, without having to make transfers, to the main points of interest in Paris.
For example, you can directly reach the Eiffel Tower, Le quartier Latin, La sorbonne, le Panthéon, le jardin du Luxembourg, la Sainte Chapelle and la Conciergerie, la Cathédrale Notre-Dame, l'Hôtel de ville, Beaubourg (centre Georges Pompidou)/les halles, le Louvre, le musée d'Orsay, le Grand Palais et les Champs Elysées, all the "grands magasins" (les Galleries Lafayette, le Printemps et Le Bon Marché), l'Opéra Garnier, Les Invalides, ...
At each end of the street you can find Vélibs' (bicycles accessible for a very low prices).
We leave plenty of information, tips, maps of Paris and of the area, guides, public transports information, and a paper we made indicating how to reach the main places of interest in the city from the apartment. We can also help you if you want to book a restaurant, a show, etc.

The facilities eg Jacuzzi, Home Cinema & Sauna. It was good to have the kitchen stocked with food and drink. The area was convenient for shops, restaurants and the Metro & Tram. The apartment was very comfortable and plenty of room for our party of 4 adults and 3 children.

"This apartment is an absolute Gem. If you have a larger group who wish to stay together in Paris this is a definate. Everything is thought of, from the jacuzzi to the relaxing lounge, bedrooms where there is warmth that cannot be found in a hotel. And being on the Port d'orleans line of the metro makes getting around so easy, but even a wander through the streets from where the apartment is is great.... many a culinary delight awaiting you around every corner. The apartment is also spotless, kitchen is fully equipt and they have a truely amazing music, literature and film collection. Highly Highly recommended."

I rented the penthouse for an artist retreat. The apartments offered more than adequate space for a group our size (9). We were made to feel very much at home in our apartments in the safe and quiet 14e neighborhood, particularly after a day exploring bustling areas of Paris. We kept Claire busy obtaining priority taxis, metro tickets and making dinner reservations for us, and she was always helpful and accommodating. We loved the coffee machine in the apartment for our daily coffee and the pan au chocolat from the corner boulangerie, just 2 minutes from our door. And, there is an award winning artisanal bakery and a fromagerie a few blocks away on Rue d'Alesia. Everything we needed was easily located within a short walk (3 - 5 minutes) of the apartment. We picked up couscous and paninni from a corner eatery when we wanted something to bring back to the apartment. The cafe near the metro was a great place to relax and enjoy a long luscious meal (try the salad Nicoise). We used the metro daily, and found it quick and easy to get to our destinations throughout the city. The Marche aux Puces de Porte de Vanves (flea market) was just a couple of tram stops from our neighborhood, as was the Marche du Livre Ancien et d'Occasion (antiquarian and used book). When I return to Paris again in the future, I will definitely return this apartment! We found Parisians quiet and reserved, as well as friendly, approachable and welcoming and most especially Claire. Merci beaucoup!

We (2 grandparents, 2 children, and 2 grandchildren) spent a week in this comfortable three-story apartment on a quiet street in the 14th. The accommodations were exactly as advertised (including frequent housekeeping) and the kitchen and penthouse (with home theater) were exceptional. Our grandchildren greatly enjoyed the penthouse Jacuzzi, and our host, Claire, was extremely responsive and helpful. We highly recommend this rental and the nearby Parc Montsouris.

We stayed in the apartment - four adults and three children. The apartment was spacious. The kitchen well stocked and the owner incredibly helpful with information, planning, shopping, etc. Although no in the heart of Paris - the apartment is well situated for easy public transportation access to every major Paris attraction and sports space and facilities which are impossible to come by in the immediate center. We highly recommned the apartment and the owner.
