  Our stay was everything we were looking forward to PLUS MORE! Awesome view, condo was spacious, comfy, clean, and Cat was more than accomodating. would definitley recommend for a short stay or a longer vacation, will definitely be back!

  This is such a great condo for ocean watching. Great balcony. Very comfortable, clean place with all the amenities mentioned. Cat is so helpful and gives very quick responses via email & phone. Will be back. Loved Casey which is part of the Gaido complex. Definitely a vacation recommendation.

  I have been to Galveston many times and stayed many places. By the Sea is the best by far and has an extremely good price for what you get! I will always try to book my vacations to Galveston through Cat and this condo. Wonderful location, just a little bit away from the main strip on the Seawall, so it's nice and quiet in the evenings and within walking distance of the 61st Street Pier. Moody Gardens is almost directly behind the condos on the other side of the island. Cat has a fun flip flop theme in the condo as well as cheerful walls! it is very easy to rent through Cat and she is very reliable. I received my deposit back in less than a week, while at other places in Galveston it took over a month to get my deposit back. Just to let a potential renter know, if I couldn't get this condo I would ask about her other properties in Galveston, you won't find anyone nicer or more honest! One problem we had was with the VHS/DVD player. We rented a DVD and couldn't get it to play, this was in the main room, we didn't try the other one in the bedroom. When we checked connections to the back of the cable box and TV it knocked out the picture and sound on the TV. We did get the TV/cable back on; however, I think one of the wires is loose. Who really wants to watch a movie while at the beach anyway? If there is an opening, this condo books up fast, and you are thinking about where you want to stay book this condo! There is always someone at the desk in the lobby and we received good advice on some of the locally owned places to eat and shop. Guido's is always a must to have dinner; however, I think Fisherman's Warf had better seafood. The pictures on the ad for this condo does not do them justice, they are much larger than the look in the pics. Thanks for a great vacation Cat!

  Advice - Never arrive on Labor Day !!! We were two of the 40,000 beach goers on that day. After that one day, all was perfect. This condo is really in a great location, beautiful complete view of the Gulf of Mexico and the night view is magnificent, with the lights of 10 to 12 large ships shining in the distance (waiting their turn into the Port of Galveston). The condo was well supplied with everything we needed and we loved the bright decor. The balcony is wonderful for lounging with a good book, or just watching people and birds. We visited just about every historical site, marveled at the tree sculptures, visited Moody Gardens, took the ferry across to Boliver and ate wonderful sea food daily. The pool is well maintained and beautiful. The staff in the lobby are GREAT. Helpful and happy too. We had a wonderful vacation. Thanks Cat. for your courtesy and hospitality.

  We had a great time in Galveston and really enjoyed this fun condo. It was comfortably furnished with just the right amount of 'extras'! I would definitely stay here again!! Thanks Cat!

  What a lovely condo and what an excellent rental experience. The view from this condo is perfect. The condo is decorated in flip flop decor and couldn't be cuter. The colors very bright and warm. The condo is very easy to take care of and the owner made for an easy and excellent reservation. I highly recommend this condo rental for your next stay in Galveston.

  We just got back from a several days staying in this condo. Loved everything about it! Clean, nicely decorated, comfortable. The staff is helpful and friendly. The owner of the condo is great and took care of everything for us. Can't wait to go back! I should mention the location is perfect....close to everything but quieter and less traffic that a little further down the Seawall.

  Good location, right on Seawall, not far from the restaurants, stores, and beaches. There is a Kroger right down the street. Private parking. The 24 hour lobby staff was very friendly, and the building felt secure. The pool was clean (no hot tub, though). The kitchen had everything we needed. We could have stayed-in and cooked all of our meals if we wanted. TVs in both bedrooms and the common area. The building provides trash pickup twice daily. The only negative is that it we needed a few more bath towels.

  This condo unit is flat out excellent and we were able to get a great rate, too! We paid less than many of the nearby hotels and had much more room for our family. The unit overlooked the gulf, was very clean and had everything we needed in the kitchen. The photos provided are spot on. The owner obviously cares about her rental unit; she was easy to contact, answered all our questions promptly, and refunded our deposit the day after our departure - a quicker turnaround than we've experienced with other owners. The property has a nice outdoor pool which was never crowded and a tennis court. The only downside is that there's no beach right outside the building, so you have to drive a few blocks (or walk/bike) to get to a nice wide beach, but that's true of many spots on the Seawall in Galveston and it certainly was not a problem for us. If we go to Galveston again, we will definitely hope to stay here again!
