There is only one thing better than Kiawah in the Fall: Kiawah at a DISCOUNT in the Fall! This luxury home in West Beach usually rents for $1400 per week and $250 per night in the Fall. But the current economy is anything but "usual". That's why we are discounting our rate to $1200 for a week or $200 a night for shorter stays (3 night minimum, please). That price includes cleaning fee (for week long stay) and linens along with the use of three bikes. An unbelievable value!

Our newly renovated house is located on the 7th Fairway of Cougar Point Golf Course (just named the 2008 Golf Course of the Year by the S.C. Golf Course Association). A short walk and you are at the wide ocean beach. Want to bike? That's even faster and we even supply three touring bikes AND child bike trailer!
Wide plank pine flooring throughout the first floor remind you of that old time beach cottage feel but the amenities are far from old timey! Fully equipped kitchen boasts granite countertops, brand new stainless steel appliances, and opens to a screened in deck for memorable family meals. Need to do a little work while you're here? Shame on you! But, no problem. We've got high speed WI-FI!
Truly a family friendly escape, trails to the marsh for wildlife viewing are steps away along with a viewing tower for watching spectacular sunsets over the marsh.
The house's location at west beach makes it ideal for convenient access to shopping, Night Heron recreational park, and west beach tennis courts as well as the five resort golf courses. Even with that accessibility, the house remains tucked away from traffic and noise so you and your family can enjoy your privacy.

Why the Owner Chose Private Homes
We picked West Beach because it is so convenient to shopping and restaurants. Having rented in East Beach and Vanderhorst Plantation, we soon realized what a pain it was to run out for a stick of butter or something else we just wanted to pick up. We obviously also like the proximity to the beach right down the street and the fact that our children can access bike paths to anywhere on the island without ever having to ride on a street.
The Unique Benefits at this House
Our house is right next to the 7th fairway of Cougar Point Golf Course. We love to walk over to the 6th green just steps away and watch golfers hit into that par three green. We also love to climb the watch tower just over the 7th fairway,have a cocktail and watch the sun set over the marsh.

After visiting Kiawah Island for several years in connection with my wife's business seminars, we realized that our North Carolina beach property could not compare to this location. We were lucky enough to find this property for sale and poured a lot of effort into making it our own. We don't think you will find this to be a typical "rental property" and hope you will love it as much as we do.
