A large home on 40 acres that is very private yet only one half mile from US-41 and in the very center of the spectacular Keweenaw Peninsula. Lake Superior 1 mile. Great recreational area with great shops, dining, etc. Most scenic and snowy area of MI. Three bedrooms and lots of extra space in a 2000 square foot house with hot tub, fireplace, premium satellite TV, stereo, DVD, dishwasher, etc. The master bedroom is a delight with a large skylight over the bed - view the stars!

There are 10 mile views to the Keweenaw Ridge out all the back windows - spectacular with almost no human develpment in sight. The property is great for walking through the fields or woods and is very private.

Two night minimum except only weekly in summer. Winter is a great time since we average 20 feet! every winter. Great snowmobiling, nearby Alpine and Nordic skiing, sleds and snowshoes provided. All seasons are really cool!

You can hunt on the property or walk in absolute privacy. Two hundred blueberry plants, pears, raspberries, blackberries, apples. I get great reviews and many return guests, see my main website for all my guest comments and many more photos.

In the summer, a large spring - fed pond offers great swimming, a shaded picnic area and beach, stocked trout and a very special wood fired sauna near the pond. Have a campfire down near the pond and watch the northern lights!

Guest comments:

We just arrived home from our vacation and wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed your property. Everything was perfect. We found ourselves having difficulty leaving the farm for other activities. The dogs tried to convince us to stay forever, but they had to settle for an opportunity to someday return. Going to bed with a blanket of stars overhead and waking up to deer grazing in the backyard are luxuries not experienced in Cleveland. Lisa P.

We were able to watch a bobcat saunter through your back field one evening and several eagles around the pond in the mornings. D.H.

We found the house a perfect oasis and would recommend it highly to anyone who wants an ideal base camp to explore the Keweenaw Peninsula. Rick

Just wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed our stay at your Keweenaw home. Watching the deer in the morning from the deck and then watching for shooting stars at night was big fun. The weather was near perfect all the while we were there so we were able to enjoy the great outdoors.
What a great place to get away from it all... R.K.

Just dropping you an e-mail to thank you for letting us stay at your place in the Keweenaw. We had a great time, even though it was pretty hot that week. We had some pretty good meals at the Pilgrim River Restaurant in Chassell and the Harbor Haus in Copper Harbor. Also, with the warm weather we went swimming in Lake Superior a couple of times. Staying at your place was very relaxing and private. Enjoyed the pond, all the stars at night and a few good thunderstorms. Thanks, again. M.K.

Everything was great. We loved the house. It was exactly what we were looking for. Now we know where we are going to stay in the future. Adam and Karen

Everything was good, LOTS OF SNOW!!!! D.E.

Just a quick note to let you know we very much enjoyed the home and property. We especially liked sitting on the deck, canoeing and "Playing" in the pond, and your skylight over the bed. We also appreciated the fact that we only did need to bring food to make the visit complete. Your cleaning and grounds-person do a great job! Our dogs have never had the chance to roam a large parcel or play in water and they didn't want to leave. As we were packing the car, one actually started walking down the driveway and refused to come back! D. P.

We enjoyed ourselves -- the wood stove worked great! -- overall the accommodations were very good. D.C.

We really enjoyed staying at your house. It is so pretty to watch the sun set over the hills.I enjoyed walking your trails and the peace and quiet. The stars are so bright at night. I'm glad that we were able to rent it for a few days. I wish we could have stayed longer. B.B.

We did have a great time. We loved the farm and the house. Very peaceful and great views in every direction. The stars through the skylight over the bed were a real highlight.

The house was in great shape and everything worked fine. My wife loved the claw-foot bath tub upstairs and she said you should mention it on your web site.

The deer loved the apples from the trees in the backyard. Every evening at the same time they would come by to munch on some. That was a nice treat.

We had a great time, enjoyed the pond, canoe, fire pit (every night we had a little bonfire and our twins had a ball), and the house was great, too. A.Z.

Just wanted to let you know we had a fantastic time at your home. It was absolutely beautiful there with the views. The house was fabulous and only took a very short time for us to feel right at home. Thanks for everything and we hope we can return next year. It was probably our best trip to the U.P. S.N.

We had a wonderful time at the house! It's so great. The house has such a comfortable feel that we really had a relaxing vacation (just what we needed). Hope you're not retiring too soon, because we'd love to go back again!! Can't think of any suggestions, everything was perfect!
Thanks again,
Y.B.
