My family has stayed inside and outside the park many times. Why pay the ridiculous prices for a small hotel room? Why pay the ridiculous prices for food inside the park? Save money and stay only 5 minutes (3.5 miles) from Disney. This vacation home is perfect for FAMILIES.
Our single family, 4 bedroom house has everything you need at a reasonable price, including a private pool! Save money and have breakfast at the house before heading out to the park. Save money and come back to our house to freshen up before dinner. Eat dinner along the Rt. 192 strip and avoid the overpriced, low quality food in the park. Come home and relax at the private pool after a long day at the theme parks.
The back of our property backs up to a conservatory, so our pool is private! We have PS2 (Playstation 2) and games for the kids!
Well maintained and clean! We just bought new sofa and love seat for family room in May 2009. In addition, we purchased new mattresses and box springs for the master and guest rooms in May 2009. In 2008, we installed new carpets, along with new bedding and linens. One of the kids bedrooms is decorated in DISNEY'S CARS, and the other kids bedroom is DISNEY'S LITTLE MERMAID. Your children will love taking a bath in our SEA ADVENTURE with lots on underwater animals. Make sure the villa you choose is well maintained!
Guests are welcome to use the resort clubhouse with a community pool and Tiki Bar, games room, high speed internet Cyber Café, fitness room, sauna, gathering room with wide screen TV, playground, volley ball court, a tennis court, and as well as a sundry Shop. Concierge service is also located in the Club House.
Beautiful Emerald Island Resort is an enclave of homes amidst an array of beauty and recreation. There are 300 acres surrounded with lush vegitation dedicated to the floral and plant life of Florida. 11 acres of nature trail for walking, jogging, biking, or even a picnic. This is all located in the center of this breathtaking land oasis.
Upon entering this Gated Community, the stately 3-tiered fountain is surrounded with beautiful foliage. Palm tree lined street with pavers, pedestals, and overflowing wisterica is only the beginning. Ahead you will be passing through the gates and are faced with four playful dolphins spurting water amidst the gushes of geysers and surrounded by a picturesque rotunda. Wedding parties have chosen this area for their special day photos.
Emerald Island Resort is located only a couple of miles to Disney World and a short walk or drive to shopping or dining, and serves as a quite haven but still central to other world known attractions such as Sea World and Universal, to name only a couple.

Why the Owner Chose Emerald Island Resort
We looked all over central Florida for a vacation home. In our opinion, there is no better location than Emerald Island. The resort is beautiful, safe, and extremely well maintained. The clubhouse and conceirge give you everything you need for your vacation. Best of all, Emerald Island is just 5 MINUTES from Disney World. Its location allows my family to leave the park and come home to enjoy the pool. Then, after a few hours rest, we head right back to the parks for fireworks! I know we are home before park guests wait for their bus to their hotel.
