Spend a relaxing week or weekend in the beautiful mountain community of Big Bass Lake, located in Gouldsboro, Pennsylvania, just twenty minutes from Camelback Ski area and Camelback Beach and the outlets at Tannersville and the new Mt. Airy Casino and only twenty minutes south of Scranton, home of the Office.
Big Bass Lake features it's own tubing area and ski slope, ice skating area, game room and indoor pool in the winter. In the summer, enjoy any of three private lakes in Big Bass with swimming, fishing and boating. Use of rowboat on one of the private lakes is included. Big Bass features it's own clubhouse and snack bar with a heated outdoor pool, tennis courts, basketball courts and planned community activities.
This serene chalet is adjacent to Gouldsboro State Park, which offers boat rentals, fishing rentals, hunting, swimming, hiking and cook-outs by the lake.
On rainy days, enjoy a relaxing stay at home playing pool, foosball, watching television or swimming in the indoor pool at Big Bass Lake. For the more adventurous, enjoy a day at the Family Fun Center only five miles down the road where you can play laser tag, bumper cars, mini-bowling. For adult fun, head over to Mt. Airy Casino where you can play the slots, enjoy the nightclub or schedule time for a spa treatment.

My name is Karen Ann Ulmer, I am a vacation home owner in Big Bass Lake and a family law attorney in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. I enjoy the mountains and all the all the recreational activities that can be found in the mountains, including fishing, swimming in the lakes, hunting, hiking, boating, snow-tubing, ice skating, etc. My vacation home is a great place to escape and relax.
Why the Owner Chose Gouldsboro
Big Bass Lake is a gated community, providing for a safe vacation, with clean recreational facilities that include an Olympic size pool, tennis courts, basketball courts and three private lakes. Gouldsboro State Park is only a short walk behind the house with hiking trails, a large swimming lake and shaded areas for cooking by the beach.
The Unique Benefits of this Chalet
Just a short walk out the back of the house is the blue trail for hiking. There is nothing better than cooking at the beach on a charcoal grill in the shade while enjoying the sunshine without getting burnt. Fishing on Big Bass Lake for bass and trolling around in a boat on the lake are great pastime activities. In the winter, Big Bass has its own private snow tubing or going to Camelback is only a short drive away.
