  • Great place, superb location, and owner is very nice to boot. Good restaurants nearby, drug/grocery stores as well. Metro stop, etc. All less than 5 min walk away. Beautiful old neighborhood as we. Felt very safe while there. I'd stay again. Having this "home" to come home to after a long day hoofing it around the DC sites made for a great time. Thanks so much.

  • We spent a week in the apartment and found it to be a fabulous base for visiting DC. It is spacious, comfortable, newly decorated, extremely well equipped and in a great location. It is only a very short stroll to the excellent zoo and to the Woodley Park area where there are a variety of good restaurants and bars as well as instant access to the metro and therefore just a short ride to all the attractions of the city. There really is no need for a car if you stay here. Rikke has gone out of her way to provide everything that a visitor could reasonably need - and then some more - and was friendly and helpful throughout. We would happily stay here again or recommend it to friends.
