Orange County has miles of beaches to explore, world famous attractions such as Disneyland and Knott's Berry farm, hundreds of fashion-setting stores and boutiques to be explored, and restaurants, cafes and microbreweries to suit every taste.

About a three-minute drive away is the famous Dana Point Harbor, which offers boat cruises to Catalina Island, whale-watching and sportfishing expeditions, and picnic and barbecue areas. Newport Harbor, about 20 minutes north, offers boat tours to celebrities' homes, and endless shops and restaurants on Balboa Island.

Just north on the Pacific coast are countless more beaches in the coastal towns of Laguna Beach, Corona del Mar, Newport Beach and Huntington Beach. We had a great time in Dana Point and this condo really made our trip so enjoyable. Very convenient to places like laguna beach, huntington beach,etc; and Dana Point was really nice too (whale trip is awesome!). Condo was everything it was represented to be; pool was great for the kids..they met new kids to play with each day. So much nicer than stuffy hotel, and we could pack light b/c of full size washer/dryer. And complex is pretty quiet/no problems with sleep after full day of fun.

Hi, we rented Grace's property for 3 months, in 2009. It is very nice. Nice furniture and great location. It is across the street from a very nice beach. You have to walk downhill to get to it, but makes for a great walk. They also have a trolley that goes up and down the hill to the beach. The condo area is very quiet and well kept up. It has a nice pool and 2 different jacuzzi areas. Grace's place is up stairs and we never saw or heard the people below us. We did meet several other neighbors though who were permanent residents and all very friendly. There are grocery stores, restaurants and a post office within 1 mile of the condo. The nearest big mall is about 8 miles. Dana Point is a lovely community and very safe. It is right off Hy 1 which runs up and down the coast to a lot of beachs and beachtowns. Disneyland is about 30 min away. San Diego about 1 hr to the south. Grace is a great landlady. We had one problem with plumbing and she had it fixed immediately. She is easy to contact if needed. We very much enjoyed renting this condo and only left because we bought a home in the area. I am sure you will be pleased with it. Lynn Hoida
