Truly stunning new (2006) 2200 sq. Ft. Log home has 3 bedrooms large loft, 2 full bathrooms, inside mud room (laundry).
This home is completely built out of eastern white pine. All interior walls are T&G Eastern White Pine. Tall beam & purlin ceiling. Beautiful granite counter tops in all bathrooms, laundry room, kitchen counters & island, & computer desk. All cabinets were custom made locally with alder wood. Southern eastern pine hardwood flooring throughout the entertaining area & carpeting in all the bedrooms & loft. Porcelain tile in the entry foyer & also in both bathrooms.
This home sits atop a granite topping that overlooks the beautiful Sullivan Creek. Sit out on this expansive deck, relax, BBQ, & listen to the running water. Walk down to the creek to relax & meditate.
Travel up the hill (1/2 hour drive) to the beautiful Pinecrest Lake for excellent trout fishing. Excellent stream fishing throughout the Mother Lode. Take a 2 hour drive to Yosemite park and spend the day shooting pictures and sightseeing. You will never experience another home like this!

We had a wonderful stay with our friends here. The cabin was roomy, very cozy and clean, beautifully furnished and the kids loved hanging out and sleeping up in the loft. It is even lovelier than the photos. It was a treat to have the place pre-heated as we drove up, what a nice touch! We had bluebird ski weather (in January!) and Dodge Ridge was just 30 minutes away. The weather was nice enough to explore the creek a little on our departing day. A truly relaxing home and such personalized service from the owners.
Recommended for:Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway.

Hi! Thank you. Our visit could not have been better. What a beautiful setting and home! Everything we needed was there including very comfortable furniture. We really were blessed to enjoy your home! "The home is just beautiful, with the best of everything -- appliances, beds, kitchen items, WiFi, plasma TV. The view is lovely and the fireplace cozy. It was such a nice getaway for our family. We explored the area for the first time but had just as much fun staying at home -- we even saw four deer walk right across the driveway and down the creek!" The bed and fleece sheets sure were cozy! We returned from Sonora yesterday. The cabin is beautiful and slept eight of us very comfortably. The large master bedroom/bath is separate from the other two bedrooms and bath which gave our two families lots of space and privacy. The kids loved sleeping in the loft! We cooked most of our meals and really appreciated the well-stocked kitchen and outdoor grill. The house has an open floor plan, which is great for visiting with friends. We enjoyed the nice view during the day and gas fireplace at night. The house is less than an hour from Calaveras Big Trees State Park, caves, wineries and quaint towns and even closer to Pinecrest Lake and Dodge Ridge. We were able to see a lot during the weekend and still have plenty of time to relax at the house. Thanks so much, Otto!

Hi Otto Just arrived back into the UK and had to write and tell you what an absolutely fantastic, beautiful home you have. We thoroughly enjoyed our couple of days there and had the pleasure of watching a deer for most of the day from the balcony, which was amazing. We would definately want to return should we be in San Francisco again and will certainly recommend you to any friends who may be visiting. Thank you again for everything. We are definately jealous and wish we could be living there full time instead of in freezing cold UK which has a temp of 7 at the moment complete with pouring rain!!!!! Kind regards Julie
