  The owners are very accurate in their description of the property and the surroundings. The property was clean, well-kept, and very comfortable! The owners were perfect to work with, very accomodating...we didn't get the opportunity to meet them...but it was nice that we didn't feel like we were staying with someone. The garage entry is perfect! We enjoyed the walk to the beach each morning and the location is so convenient to anything you would want to do in San Diego. The area is safe, too! The donuts at the bakery a few blocks away are delicious...stop by on your way to the beach! By the way, the shower is great! Don't stay in a hotel, stay here!!!

  I brought my best friends with me to have a mini vacation before she gets married in a few weeks and we stayed here for 4 nights. We had a great time, only problem we had was we had to pack and head home when our time was up. WE would have loved to stay longer. Bill is very friendly and very helpful in anything you may need while you are there. The apartment was sparkling clean and felt just like home. All you need to bring with you is clothes to change into and food to fill your fridge! I look forward to coming back and visiting again in the near future and I will not stay anywhere else. Thanks again Bill for everything you did for us during our stay,

  We had a great time with our 5 days in Bill's property. His description of location and amenities is accurate. Did not meet them, but email and phone responses are quick. Thanks for a great time and we hope you allow us back again!

  I had never stayed at a vacation rental but thought I'd give it a try based on other reviews of this property. I do have to say that it far exceeded my expectations. The property was very clean and the description was very accurate. We came with 3 young children and it was perfect because we could send them to their room and have them watch their tv, while the adults had a little bit of peace and quiet. The owners thought of everything (soap, towels, coffee machine, toaster oven, laundry machine, microwave, refrigerator/freezer (fullsize), cups, plates, silverware and much more). The owners were very nice and accommodating. The owners live upstairs and were very respectful of our privacy. Sound does carry and we were worried our kids were too loud at times. This place is a great place to stay for families and for those wanting a quiet non-touristy feel. The deli at the market in Cardiff is fantastic. There are lots of nice restaurants up along the coastal highway. There is also a great beach nearby for kids (can't remember the name). Perfect distant to Legoland and not far to the airport. Would definitely recommend it to others.

• Great place for San Diego trip

  We enjoyed our one week stay at this place, quiet and safe neighborhood, close to beach, and very nice owners. We feel like going back home after a busy day of sightseeing. Will definitely come back next time visit San Diego. Strongly recommended!

  my husband and i spent almost a week here, and we loved it! the rental is clean, comfortable, and is extremely close to the beach. there are several restaurants, a starbucks, and even a small grocery store within a block or two. there's room for two cars in the garage provided with the rental, which is huge given the number of cars regularly parked on the street here. it was exactly as advertised, and zoia was there to help us get in, as promised. also, bill was extremely prompt and friendly with answers to questions via email before we arrived. we even had a few surprise guests the first night (my cousin, his wife, and their baby) the first night, but there was room for all 4 1/2 of us to sleep comfortably. i do advise sleeping with the bedroom doors closed, as some sound carries from the upstairs unit when they're open. overall it was a very nice experience, and we would absolutely stay here again if we come back to cardiff!

  This property exceeded my expectations.Highly recommend the whole town is very laid back. This place doesnt have a kitchen but we didnt need one just explored the town everything from the beach to the market are within walking distance.Fantastic eateries all over.

  The listings description was accurate and the place was 10x better than the photos. I'm definitely considering going again sometime this summer. I appreciate the owners for keeping the property clean and quickly answering questions.

  We were very impressed with the place. Loved walking to the bakery for coffee and watching the locals. We felt very safe and comfortable during our stay. Really appreciated the amenities. A real 'Home away from home!"
