    We had a great time with our 5 days in Bill's property. His description of location and amenities is accurate. Did not meet them, but email and phone responses are quick. Thanks for a great time and we hope you allow us back again!

    I brought my best friends with me to have a mini vacation before she gets married in a few weeks and we stayed here for 4 nights. We had a great time, only problem we had was we had to pack and head home when our time was up. WE would have loved to stay longer. Bill is very friendly and very helpful in anything you may need while you are there. The apartment was sparkling clean and felt just like home. All you need to bring with you is clothes to change into and food to fill your fridge! I look forward to coming back and visiting again in the near future and I will not stay anywhere else. Thanks again Bill for everything you did for us during our stay,

    We enjoyed our one week stay at this place, quiet and safe neighborhood, close to beach, and very nice owners. We feel like going back home after a busy day of sightseeing. Will definitely come back next time visit San Diego. Strongly recommended!

    I had never stayed at a vacation rental but thought I'd give it a try based on other reviews of this property. I do have to say that it far exceeded my expectations. The property was very clean and the description was very accurate. We came with 3 young children and it was perfect because we could send them to their room and have them watch their tv, while the adults had a little bit of peace and quiet. The owners thought of everything (soap, towels, coffee machine, toaster oven, laundry machine, microwave, refrigerator/freezer (fullsize), cups, plates, silverware and much more). The owners were very nice and accommodating. The owners live upstairs and were very respectful of our privacy. Sound does carry and we were worried our kids were too loud at times. This place is a great place to stay for families and for those wanting a quiet non-touristy feel. The deli at the market in Cardiff is fantastic. There are lots of nice restaurants up along the coastal highway. There is also a great beach nearby for kids (can't remember the name). Perfect distant to Legoland and not far to the airport. Would definitely recommend it to others.

    my husband and i spent almost a week here, and we loved it! the rental is clean, comfortable, and is extremely close to the beach. there are several restaurants, a starbucks, and even a small grocery store within a block or two. there's room for two cars in the garage provided with the rental, which is huge given the number of cars regularly parked on the street here. it was exactly as advertised, and zoia was there to help us get in, as promised. also, bill was extremely prompt and friendly with answers to questions via email before we arrived. we even had a few surprise guests the first night (my cousin, his wife, and their baby) the first night, but there was room for all 4 1/2 of us to sleep comfortably. i do advise sleeping with the bedroom doors closed, as some sound carries from the upstairs unit when they're open. overall it was a very nice experience, and we would absolutely stay here again if we come back to cardiff!

    Recommended for: Families with young children, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

    This property exceeded my expectations.Highly recommend the whole town is very laid back. This place doesnt have a kitchen but we didnt need one just explored the town everything from the beach to the market are within walking distance.Fantastic eateries all over.

    The listings description was accurate and the place was 10x better than the photos. I'm definitely considering going again sometime this summer. I appreciate the owners for keeping the property clean and quickly answering questions.

    We were very impressed with the place. Loved walking to the bakery for coffee and watching the locals. We felt very safe and comfortable during our stay. Really appreciated the amenities. A real 'Home away from home!"

    The owners are very accurate in their description of the property and the surroundings. The property was clean, well-kept, and very comfortable! The owners were perfect to work with, very accomodating...we didn't get the opportunity to meet them...but it was nice that we didn't feel like we were staying with someone. The garage entry is perfect! We enjoyed the walk to the beach each morning and the location is so convenient to anything you would want to do in San Diego. The area is safe, too! The donuts at the bakery a few blocks away are delicious...stop by on your way to the beach! By the way, the shower is great! Don't stay in a hotel, stay here!!!

    Bill, what a grand place you and your wife have! Thank you for the lovely 'touches' (i.e., coffee, soaps, plates, cable TV, wireless internet, towels, DVD player, sheets, utensils, plastic bags, etc.) as they made our stay so much more like a home away from home! The garaged-parking (w/remote control) and laundry area are amenities that were beyond our expectations. Your place is so clean and well-kept we did not have to worry about our two children. We were extremely pleased with you and your wife's attentiveness. Being able to walk to local eateries, the beach and shopping was a real bonus! We'll definitely be back! Art & Stella

    It was a pleasant stay in this unit. The place was quiet, clean and cozy. Special thank goes to the owner for finding our lost cell phone and mailing back to us at his earliest convenience. We would definitely like to stay here again when we visit San Diego in the future.

    We stay their in August 2008, the bedrooms were really nice and comfortable and the place was very clean, enjoy very much!!! the only problem was the first night which was friday night, was very loud upstair, could not sleep at all, this was untill 2 or 3 in the morining, I wish you could consider the people you rent this out too and try not to be so loud walking around up their, it was not a good thing ! But you have a really nice place. Marsha

    We really enjoyed our stay at this property and in Cartiff. We had all of the amenities that we needed, to include a washer and dryer which a mother of three really needs. The owner greeted us when we arrived and even had great beach supplies available for us to take to the beach if we wanted. The price is very reasonable, far more reasonable than most of the properties that I researched and we could not have been happier with our selection. We would definitely come back to this residence again. Thank you for your hospitality. As a side note, we were amazed at how friendly everyone was in the neighborhood. That was a nice added touch.

    Enjoyed a long weekend. Great location. Be sure to check out Moonlight Beach - just north of Cardiff. Great having a big garage and door opener. Easy access to highway and easy to find. The only drawbacks were, some noise from above and no kitchen. Microwave and coffee pot were in the bathroom and the refrigerator was in the garage. Again, very clean, safe and in a great location - close to market, dining, etc.

    Had a great time visiting Cardiff, going to the beach, and relaxing around the small village there. The owners of this place are friendly and reliable. It was clean and everything worked. There was no view from the windows, but the rooms were brightly lit. There was also a little noise from the floor above, but nothing bad. Plus, I loved having a garage with an automatic door opener. We plan on returning some time. A pleasure to stay in.
