Tom was nice enough to allow us to use his condo for a partial week that fit our schedule. The condo is as described and is close to everything. We enjoyed having our meals on the balcony and watching the ocean then duing the evening watched the the moon cross the sky whille casting it's light on the ocean. As far as recommendations for who should use the condo I think it fits just about anyone. Thanks Tom

Our vacation in 306 Barrington was perfect! The view was definitely the $million view. The unit was very well appointed. The location from the beach and pool was convenient. Thanks so much for being so honest in representing your unit. I would recommend this unit to my friends. Hope to rent it again in the future.

Owner response: I'm glad you had an enjoyable experience. I hope you can stay with us again.
We had an incredible time on our vacation. As a first time VRBO vacationer I was thrilled with our accommodations. The condo was just as it was advertised. The view was incredible and the location was perfect. It was cleaner than many hotels I have stayed at too. I appreciated having a fully equipped kitchen and all the amenities during my stay. I loved having a washer and dryer available and we even had lawn chairs for the beach to use. I loved the proximity to bike rentals, restaurants and shopping too. I would recommend this property to anyone looking to enjoy a quiet home away from home vacation.

Our stay in Hilton Head was wonderful. It was the perfect vacation . The location on the island was close to shopping, restaurants and other activities. The view and décor were just as advertised. I loved all the condo amenities such as having a fully equipped kitchen, washer and dryer in the unit and even lawn chairs to use at the beach. We only had to show up with food and our clothes. Perfect! I would highly recommend the property to others. The availability of renting bikes from down the road, having a gym nearby to use and of purchasing fresh seafood were an added bonus. Beautiful accommodations made for a beautiful vacation!

Just ok experience.......
Just ok experience.......
We had a very pleasant stay and enjoyed the area and the grounds a great deal. The view was wonderful with all of the beautiful trees and landscaping and the ocean view in the background. The pool and hot tub were very nicely kept too. The unit was clean however it was sorely outdated. Starting with the old fashioned keyed entry. I saw many units had updated keypads on the entry doors and I suspect those units have updated interiors as well. Upon entering there was an odd smell in the unit but it didn't seem to bother me anymore after a few hours. It is just not the first impression I was looking for. The impression did not get much better as the kitchen and bathrooms need a remodel in the worst way. The cabinets, hardware, fixtures and appliances were extremely outdated. I know this because the unit has some of the same fixtures and appliances that I had in my home which was built in the 1980's. When we arrived there was a huge pile of ice which was spilled out all over the freezer which had to be cleaned out so we could put anything in there. I am guessing the unit must have been vacant for a while with the icemaker left on. The carpet did seem to be newer and in good shape but the tile grout needs to be cleaned or re-grouted. The picture above does not show an updated tv stand with a flat screen tv in the living room which was nice but small for the size of the room. The decor is "beachy" but again very outdated. Again peach and green was very popular in the late 1980's but not so much now. I agree with the other review about the warmth in the bedroom at night. That could be fixed very easily by installing a ceiling fan for air circulation or at minimum make available a portable fan. I also would not describe the bedroom as "luxurious". It was average at best compared to similar priced condos/villas I have stayed in. I would definitely stay at Palmetto Dunes again and perhaps even at Barrington Arms however I would not stay at this unit unless it was remodeled. This could be a top-notch until with some remodeling given the location and views.

Our stay was perfect. It was a second marriage honeymoon, and there was PLENTY of room for the 2 of us. Loved the king size bed. View from balcony was paradise-like. No noise at all throughout the other rooms, hallways or outside that was disturbing. Condo had everything we needed and more in the kitchen. Ice maker is a bit slow. Air could only be kept at 72 but it felt warmer in the bedroom. He may put a ceiling fan in there, but it may be wise to bring your own personal fan. He answered all my questions very quickly, and information he provided was clear and accurate. We plan to stay here again if we can on our next trip!
