Walk to all conveniences - family-owned 'meat market,' deli, big health food store, pizza, pharmacy, and more. For fun, bike rentals are available at Overlook Mt. Bikes.
Most cell phones work outside the house, many work inside. If you have a car, this location is the perfect home base for exploring the Catskills, area towns like Saugerties, Hudson and Rhinebeck. Fly fishing or tubing in Phoenica, and of course, the great hiking, biking and scenery that is all around. Woodstock is 1/2 hour drive to skiing at Belleayre, Hunter or Windham.
