It keeps snowing on the mountain! Plenty of great snow with winter conditions. Lots of activity going on during March so consider a weekend with friends or family.
A real find at Slopeside at Stratton where you park your car and forget your cares. With this unit you can ski out the door in the morning to the lower Tamarack lift and ski home for lunch without missing a beat! This 3 level condo consists of three bedrooms: master bedroom [king]with full en suite bathroom with shower-tub; bunk room with four twin beds; and a loft bedroom [queen] with en suite bathroom with shower. An entry level mudroom holds everyone's skis and boots in convenient cubbyholes. The second level contains a dining area for 8 and a fully stocked kitchen with all the utensils you need for a hearty pre-ski breakfast or gourmet dinner. A lovely living area has a large sectional couch that can set the entire household while watching television or video or snuggling up to read a book before the fireplace. A game table also has a very popular backgammon board. Our Community House a short walk from our front door boasts a full kitchen, satellite t.v., fireplace, ping pong and foos ball and an outdoor jacuzzi!! A great place to throw a party and use the hot tub at the same time!!

My extended family was very happy with our stay. Grandparents had the master bedroom and appreciated the private bath and firm mattress. We had the queen loft bedroom and our brood had their own bunkroom. Living area worked well--kids had a game table to play games on and rest their computers. Kitchen well stocked though we ate out except for breakfast. Access was very easy to Tamarack lift in morning and through the new houses in the afternoon---the ski-out feature made this place---didnt have to carry skis and boots from parking lot onto a shuttle, etc.Did you find this review helpful? We had the opportunity to use this unit recently before the ski season arrived and we will be back to use it again. The location was perfect---up an access road that has a private gate that we are told is used during peak ski times---evidently because the unit is so close to the trails you can ski to and from the condo. Decoration was very modern---lots of red, grey and black---not the typical "used furniture ski house decor". Althoug we didn't use it much the kitchen was well stocked---could easily cook a large pasta or chili dinner after skiing. Firm mattresses were a plus! With our knowledge of weekend traffic we will use this as our base this winter when we come back for junior ski races as location means we dont need a car for entire weekend.Did you find this review helpful? SHORT TERM RENTAL LEASE Jeffrey Rahn 95 State Street Suite 408 Springfield, MA 01103 hereinafter called the "Landlord" hereby agrees to rent to: hereinafter called the "Tenant" the premises known and described as: Slopeside at Stratton Unit #C-7 located on Stratton Mountain, Vermont, containing 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms comprised as follows: 1 King Bed Master bedroom with ensuite bathroom; 1 Bunkroom with 2 bunk beds (4 single beds) with separate bath, and 1 Queen loft bedroom with bath. The terms and conditions of rental are as follows: 1. TERM. Arriving after 2:00 p.m. on Friday, and departing before 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, . No rate adjustments will be made for late arrivals or early departures. 2. RENT. Rent is Dollars to be paid upon execution of this Lease together with a security deposit equivalent to one night’s rental of Payments to be in the form of a money order or bank check payable to AJeffrey Rahn@ 3. DAMAGE. A damage deposit shall be paid in addition to the rent in the amount of $ payable to the Landlord who shall return same within 30 days after the end of the rental or when the telephone bill for the premises has arrived to the Landlord. Tenant agrees to be personally liable for any damage caused by his/her negligence or misuse of the premises, including the actions of his/her family and/or guests. Tenant is to leave the premises in a “broom clean” condition. 4. CLEANING. Tenant will pay from the security deposit a cleaning fee estimated to be $125.00 but if the condition of the premises is such that the Landlord is charged more than $125.00 by the cleaning service then the excess amount will also be assessed to the Tenant and will be deducted from the security deposit. 5. VERMONT The Vermont Occupancy Tax of Ten [10%] Percent of the rental amount will be deducted from the security deposit. 6. KEY. Tenant agrees that a $25.00 charge will be deducted from the damage deposit for each key not returned to the Landlord following departure, and a $75.00 fee for the non-return of the access gate pass which shall be left in the Unit and which can be sued for access in and out of the community in the event that the security gate is operational during the daytime [the gate is normally down from about 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on weekends and holidays]. 7. OCCUPANCY. Tenant agrees that no more than eight (8) people will use the premises during the rental period. NO DOGS OR OTHER PETS ARE ALLOWED. SMOKING IN THE PREMISES IS NOT PERMITTED. 8. CANCELLATION Landlord does not guarantee the weather and/or snow conditions, and the rent is not refundable under any circumstances.
