Amazing! We had a great time and we'll be back next year, and the year after... When we walked in the door, we knew we had hit the jackpot!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/2

Very accurate listing. Excellent leafy, quiet, casual accommodations for our three generations , mornings, daytime, evening. Washer and dryer especially handy. Space was perfect for light entertaining. We unexpectedly ate almost all our evening meals in house thanks to the grill, several porches, well-equipped kitchen, and fireplace. For joggers or bicyclists, superb. Highly recommended for all age groups, familial or just romantic.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

I gathered my family from across the states to meet up in a place I had grown up coming to.. Door and the incredible , enormous log cabin did not disapppoint!!! The interior was well appointed and almost like Ralph Lauren had stepped inside to decorate..Everything was available to us. and a short walk to the Ephriam beach...and Wilsons! We loved that we were away from traffic but very close to 57 and 42 with easy access on back roads to destinations. the house was well equipped..even for all 10 of us.. we were there during the HEAT.. only complaint was toasty upstairs in the bedrooms.. but that was @ 100 degress. the air worked great thou.. We would go back in a hearbeat to this house..great house.. and perfect location... Do take a pontoon boat ride from the Epraim dock.. that was the hit of the week with 3 little ones..beach was perfect for them too!! ..Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, tourists without a car, age 55+, girls getaway.

What a house. The view was great. It is close to everything in Door County. The 2nd story restaurant was very delicous. The Summer Kitchen is always the place to go for bread and soup and Cherry Sparkle. The owner was fantastic to work with. I would recommend this and will to everyone I know. We were on motorcycles and it was a great ride through the woods to get here. So close to everything. Forget the hotels. This beats them all. The house was spotless. The beds are so comfortable I didn't even miss mine. Great at night for chatting with the friends in the spacious living room.Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children, people with disabilities, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, tourists without a car, girls getaway.

My family and I (8 of us in total) rented this home to celebrate our mother's 60th birthday. The house suited our needs perfectly. Everything was clean and in great shape. Plenty of room to either all be together or, at the same time, go off for some quiet reading time. Having chosen an unusually cold weekend for September, the fireplace was so welcome. The owners provided everything we needed for the stay. The location is great. Quiet solitude, a nice wooded deck, a great area for a walk/run yet close to main road. We will definitely look to use this house again. Oh, and the mattresses were great!Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, romantic getaway.

For anyone looking for a house to rent for a family event, friends weekend away or anyone else looking to just get away from it all, this place is unbelievable! This house is located privately in the woods with really no other people around you that you can hear or see. It is minutes from downtown Ephraim and only a couple more to Fish Creek. The house is set up so conveniently that even if you have a larger group (8-10 people) you have plenty of space in every social area (deck, screened porch, kitchen, living room) to all be in the same place at one time interacting. The owners have done such a great job making sure that it is set up for everyone to enjoy and not so that some have to be in one room and others in another. We had a great time cooking in the kitchen, playing games in the living room and socializing on the screened porch. We also enjoyed having all the extra space for storage of all of our things (extra coolers, etc.). The property comes with almost everything you would need for a weekend away. We were often surprised that some things were there, provided by the property and its owners. I have rented other places around the country and in Door County and this is by far the nicest I have ever stayed in. Our group would for sure recommend this home to anyone looking to have a great weekend in Door County. We are mostly likely coming back next year!Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway.

I just wanted you to know how much we enjoyed our week at your home. Our family enjoyed it so much. My favorite part is the screened porch -- actually we loved everything. We had a beautiful fire on Friday. I love the kitchen. Thank you again.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/1
