We offer our standard rate for a minimum 2 night stay*. We offer discounts on longer stays including our best rate starting at $80 per night when you book for a week. From time to time, we offer fantastic specials – they are posted below when available. We have no hidden fees and charges. We are the only 2 bedroom Show Low cabin listed here that DOES NOT charge a cleaning fee. The average listed cleaning fee for this cabin type is $65-$75. This means at other cabins, if you book a two night stay, this adds $32.50 per night to your bill. At BISON BUNGALOW, the rate you see is the rate you pay. Make the spectacular drive through National Forest Lands and Rim Country. Spectacular scenery awaits as you travel from either Phoenix or Tucson in less than three hours. Unlimited opportunities for day trips include the Sunrise Ski area(mountain biking and gondola running in summer, National and State Parks and Monuments; Grand Canyon, Canyon De Chelly 3+ hours away, the tranquil ruins at Homolovi and Perified Forest Ruins; famed Hopi, Navajo and Apache lands; and historic Route 66 towns, like Holbrook, Winslow and Flagstaff. We are also adjacent to the Apache-Sitgraves National Forest (bring your ATV). Come to the White Mountains to see and enjoy all that North Central Arizona offers.

Why the Owner Chose Show Low
We bought our first vacation home in the White Mountains to escape the summer heat of the Valley. Our temperatures here in Show Low average 20 degrees less than the Phoenix Metro area. Little did we know how much we would come to enjoy the peace and quiet of a home nestled in the cool mountain pines of the Sitgreaves National Forest and North Central Arizona. We are constantly amazed at the diversity of this area. We have the mountain life but enjoy a modern home.
The Unique Benefits at this Cabin
Ideal location less than 3 hours from either Tuscon or Phoenix Metro areas. Two amazing routes to take with drop dead scenery from the Salt River Canyon to the upper limits of the Sonoran Desert and Rim Country. This location is a perfect base for exploring historic Route 66 towns, National Parks and Monuments, Arizona State Parks and Lakes, or the Native American Cultures of the Apache, Navajo and Hopi. Antiquing alone can occupy the beter protion of a week!
We love to drive over to Winslow for lunch at La Posada, a restoration in progress of a national treasure or have a special dinner at Hidden Meadow Ranch near Greer. Unlimited possibilities for wildlife viewing at over 40 area lakes.

Originally from Nebraska and Missouri, we've lived in many great cities from Boston to San Francisco, Washington, D.C. to Washington State. We will always have our favorites, however, the White Mountains have beckoned us for our retirement years.
We manage and maintain our cabins, attending to every detail. We keep very busy with a goal of providing the best cabin experience in the White Mountains and Show Low.
