You will absolutely LOVE staying at our beautiful ground floor condo at Destin West. This is the best beach and bay resort on the gorgeous Emerald Coast. You will have a blast enjoying everything there is to offer from pools, to views, to the Lazy River, to watching stingrays and fish in the bay, swimming in the ocean, or watching the kids spray each other at the park.
Our 3 BR, 2 BTH, ground floor unit has a private 4 person hot tub right on the ground level porch overlooking the 700 foot lazy river, bay, pool, palm trees, and more!
Our condo is located in the Heron building which was completed in the fall of 2007. In the master bedroom there is a king bed, queen in the guest room, and a full on the bottom bunk, single on the top in the third bedroom, as well as a queen sleeper sofa in the living area. This unit sleeps 9 and is wonderful for families or just a glamorous get-away for a couple.
Our kitchen and condo are FULLY equipped with everything you will need to have a fabulous time. IT's "A HOME AWAY FROM HOME!"
This is a lanai unit. "Lanai" means a veranda or covered porch.
From the master bedroom and living room, you have access to the main porch that has a table and 6 comfortable chairs, great for eating outside and watching the sailboats go by. Steps lead from the main porch down to the ground patio where the 4-person private hot tub is located.
You have DIRECT ACCESS to the Heron building's ground level pool (only for Heron guests), the lazy river, and charcoal grills, as well as the Bay. How much more convenient can you get? MUCH MORE!
The Boardwalk with many seafood restaurants, shops, a long fishing pier, as well as the Gulfarium (great for kids), is just across the street. And don't worry about traffic. Simply cross worry-free on the walkover bridge connecting the bayside buildings to the beach side buildings.
Plus Jet-Ski and Pontoon boat rentals are right next door as well a putt, putt golf. Or feel free to go to the beach. Just a 3-5 min. walk and stay all day soaking up the sun and relaxing building sand castles or using the beachside pool area (large pool + kiddie pool.

Beautiful unit and the location is awesome. Everything we could possibly need was there and my family truly enjoyed every minute. Perfect for kids of all ages. The unit is everything the description states and more!! It was absolutely perfect for our new family of six! The kids had plenty of space to themselves and/or to be together! The patio was spacious enough to bbq and invite our family that came in for the wedding over for dinner! The rain didn't hinder our fun! Ft. Walton Beach offers so much to do! The adults and children alike had a relaxing/fun time with close access to the lazy river and the beach! The unit also made a perfect place for a "bridal suite" and the beach was a fantastic backdrop for a beautiful sunset wedding!! We also made reservations nearby at "The Boardwalk" at the "Black Pearl" restraunt. The boardwalk is walking distance from the resort and a great place to eat and have fun. The resort is also a short drive to shopping and adventures: Parasailing, boating, jet skiing, dolphin tours, etc... I will definately recommend this to friends and family!

We had a great time in Ft. Walton and in your condo! It was perfect!!! We enjoyed every part of it...the hot tub, the lanai, pool, kitchen, and yes, even the laundry room! Everything we needed was here. The beach stroller was a life saver!!! Although we did go out to eat, many meals were shared at the table!! Thanks for sharing your beautiful home. We will be back!

We loved your place from the moment we walked in at 4:00am! The kids felt like this was made for them too - the bunk beds and breakfast bar with stools - to the walkout patio! Your condo has it all - the convenience, the view, the space and the hot tub!. Thank you so much for having it completely ready for us with soap, detergents, etc. We really appreciate the extra mile you went - we would love to come back - only if we can stay here!!

As soon as we walked in, the first words out of our mouths were "WOW!" This is by far the most beautiful condo we've ever stayed in. We loved that it was on the main floor with easy access to the pools. We can't wait to come back!
