At all seasons of the year it provides a lovely home to return to after a day of skiing, snow boarding, snow mobile riding or sledding in the nearby snow parks, wilderness areas and ski resorts at Sierra Summit and Badger Pass.
This lovely mountain retreat is a perfect nesting place to stay and recharge after a glorious day in the mountains. Many people choose to just stay here during the day and relax on the deck or in the spacious great room and enjoy the natural setting away from the busyness of the city.
It is a beautiful custom 1200 square foot house located adjacent to the Sierra National Forest. It is 3 miles from Bass Lake and 23 miles from Yosemite National Park. The land is a wildlife sanctuary for deer, silver foxes and other wonderful creatures. There are no hiking trails on the property itself. There are many trails within short driving distance. There is a book at the house that gives information on recreational activities in the area.
There is custom stonework behind the wood stove depicting a mountain sunrise with trees and clouds made by a world class stone mason.
The kitchen has granite counter tops. The bathrooms both have dual shower heads.
The house is nestled among pines, oaks and manzanitas with cedar log pillars at the front entry and forming the landscaped gardens.
It is a sacred site perfect for personal creative retreats, solitude and recreation.
