  'Sweet Life was well located for our holiday needs a real treasure. We stayed for 4 and a half weeks and it was a real home away from home. Ideally located for transport, we traveled the whole island by bus, and to have bus stops so near was convenient. Also well located for eating out with a very good variety of places, plus Chili Moo's- great ice cream . The beach was within a five minute walk, depending on how fast you walked. The kitchen was well supplied with those extra convenient things you expect to have in your own kitchen. Great location, great house a real gem.

  This home is absolutely awesome. Our stay bhere was wonderful Everything was available to us and we appreciated the new upgrade to the home as well. It is literally close to everything just a walk away. The neighbourhood is quiet and friendly and very safe. The beach and stores are so close and the Scotiabank is just down the street. You feel good knowing you can walk outside night or day and be familiar with the area not worried about being out there on your own. Doris, you are such a wonderful hostess thank you for being so kind and accomodating and opening up your home to us. We absolutely loved it. We had access to virtually everything we needed in the house i.e. clean linen, washing machine, vaccum, kitchen utensils a variety of pots and pans, a/c and ceiling fans, the house was not without. This is "our house" as we affectionately referred to it. We miss it already and cannot wait to go back. We are planning right now as this is written. We definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to stay in Barbados this is the place...although we want to keep this secret haven to ourselves lol.

  When our family went to Barbados we had a pleasant vacation when we stayed at Sweet Life. We picked this house because of the location and the owner was friendly and helpful. When we arrived it exceeded our expectations as it was clean, inviting and tastefully decorated. We were close to the beach, the boardwalk, banks, stores and many bars & restaurants. Travelling around the island by bus was fun. We all felt sad and did not want to leave this lovely home as we had an extremely wonderful holiday. Thank you Doris. Joe

  I would like to start by saying thank you for your hospitality & kindness through the wedding process. Things got stressful at times and your help made it easy, it was great to know I was going to have a roof over my head no matter what. My expectations for your home were exceeded. It was warm comfortable and family like. At one point I started to feel like I was living in Barbados. All of my family fell in love with your home. The kitchen looked amazing!! We had a great time and you have great neighbours, they were so kind daily and we felt so safe. We had no issues with anything and all was easy to find & use. I plan to stay again on my next trip, if available. Thank you for everything we all had a "SWEET LIFE". Natalya

  First let me say this review is “loooooooong overdue” so with that let me inform you all of my idea of a perfect getaway beach house rental which is this property. With it’s ideal location and proximity to very thing you will possibly need whilst on your holiday without going overboard, (except for the HUGH FLATSCREEN which we thoroughly enjoyed “Cheers to that”) it is nestled in a very well maintained neighbourhood, and a stone throw to public transport, numerous restaurants, local groceries, shops, and just liming, etc. and of course the Beautiful Beach one of many within walking distance, with landscaped shrubs and manicured lawns respectful neighbours (do reciprocate same to them) it boasts of comfort, security, location, price, necessities, amenities, etc. and a definite feeling you have arrived at your beach house. From the moment you walk through the doors and your eyes view the back yard you will feel at ease as the Bajan winds and often sounds of the ocean come over you, you know sleep can’t be too far behind, which brings me to the extremely comfortable bedroom, well equipped with mozzy’s nets very comfortable beds “clean sheets” and A/C that will give you frost bite (thou often comes in handy) if you’re not careful. It contains 2 well-maintained bathrooms with an abundance of running water (as I’ve often stayed at place where that’s somewhat limited) but remember try to conserve. My group and myself have thoroughly enjoyed all this property has to offer and will like you all to experience what the “Sweet Life” is all about!. Cheers “D”

  Fantastic location for the beach and nearby shops, restaurants & amenities. The house is very spacious and has a lovely garden. The breeze blows beautifully through the open shutters and keeps you cool. Everything you could need for a comfortable holiday is contained within this house. I would recommend this property to a friend.
