To accomodate your budget and needs, our rental is flexible. You may choose to rent either some of the bedrooms or the whole house (total 4 bedrooms, including 2 suites, plus a den, 3 1/2 bathrooms, 3100 square feet). Once you rent a bedroom, there will be NO other guests inside the house, and you will have full access to use our living room, dining room, family room, kitchen, powder room and laundry room. The other bedrooms not being rented will be locked. email us or call for a detailed price.
Custom built in 2003 on a private road, this house is where you call home.
The main floor has a living room with fireplace and a YAMAHA piano, a formal dining room where you can host a banquet, a family room with a wall of shelf full of books, a suite (bedroom with its own bath), a powder room and a true chef's kitchen with upgraded appliances. The second floor has a master suite with jacuzzi tub, a second bedroom with two single beds, a third bedroom with another queen size bed, and a den with a high quality sofa bed. Laundry room is also upstairs. The house has wireless internet.
The house is situated on top of the hill and overlooks the whole Castro Valley. It does not have any rear neighbors expect deers gracefully grazing in the woody land. A quick few blocks walk to Lake Chabot, a regional park, where you may boat, hike, bike, and fish.
Easy access to I580 and I880 which means you may easily go to San Francisco (in 30 minutes)or San Jose (in 45 minutes). Taking Bart (Bay Area Rapid Transit) from Castro Valley to San Francisco is also an option.
Please note that San Francisco Bay Area is famous for its cool weather during summer, so don't forget to bring a jacket with you when you travel around this area! |
