SUMMARY: Winter Park Condos - Beaver Village
Completely remodeled in 11/2007 - 2-bedroom 2-bath GROUND floor condo that now SLEEPS UP TO 8 - like a much more expensive 3 bedroom condo. All this with FREE HIGH SPEED INTERNET, a brand new kitchen, new double door refrigerator(with ice maker), central island, new furniture and bedding. The condo is a few hundred feet from downtown Winter Park and is in a pine forest. This Condo is in Building 16 at the top of the condo complex. We have an indoor pool and 3 adjacent hot tubs. Our Winter Park/Beaver Village Condo is 1.5 miles from the Winter Park/Mary Jane ski area by road and 1 mile as the crow flies.
To keep our guests happy and coming back, we just put a new King Bed in the Master Bedroom. Note: You will need a laptop and wireless card to use this FREE high speed wireless internet service.
The free door-to-door shuttle takes you from Building 16 doorstep to the ski area. The fully-equipped condos sleep up to EIGHT people and includes a cozy/automatic gas fireplace. Amenities include recent new carpet, Cable TV in master bedroom and living room (with DVD player), a microwave over the range, a fully-equipped kitchen with new quiet dishwasher and new glass top electric range.
Our Winter Park condo is fully stocked with utensils. The condo is maintained in immaculate condition. You will find our rates are 25 to 35 percent below commercial rates. We have lots of connections with owners (like us) so if you need more than one condo, just let us know - we will guarantee the same price for a family group in multiple condos.

- Handicapped Accessible (may have limitations) : This is a ground floor condo with a paved path from the parking lot that goes down about 2 feet to the condo level. The door to the 2nd bedroom and the door to the 2nd bedroom bath are both 3 feet wide. Grab bars in 2nd bath tub shower, shower seat and portable grab bar provided.
- Wheelchair Accessible (may have limitations) : You can get into the condo with a wheelchair. You cannot get into the MBR hall or MBR bath as the doors are too narrow. The 2nd bedroom and 2nd bath were both modified with wider doors. This condo does not meet ADA guidelines but for most wheelchair athletes, it works just fine.

Why the Owner Chose Beaver Village
We fell in love with the small town atmosphere in Winter Park. When we lived in Maryland, our condo became a great getaway for family vacations. We bought our first condo in 1989. A 2nd condo was added in 1991 and a third in 1992. Prices were reasonable back then. As we moved towards retirement, we sold two of the condos and began plans to build our home here on the 12 acre plot we bought near Devils Thumb Ranch. We have been living here full time since 2001.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
Recreation is everywhere - hiking, biking, fishing and golf in summer. Skiing, snow shoeing and cross country skiing in winter. Enjoy a snowmobile ride to the top of the continental divide. Enjoy moderate summer temps - 75 degrees is the norm and humidity level is less than 30%. You can play tennis and still be dry an hour later. This is a winter paradise with up to 600 inches of snow yet the roads are always clear and beautifully maintained by CDOT workers. Driving is a piece of cake - even in winter. We love our heated indoor pool and hot tubs. Nothing like sitting in a hot tub while it is snowing like crazy outside. The area is home to the Rocky Mountain National Park - 35 miles north. We have three huge lakes and the largest natural lake in Colorado - Grand Lake. You can fly fish the Colorado or Fraser Rivers. History buffs will note that this was the Summer Home of President Dwight D Eisenhower who loved to come here for the summer fishing. Kids can fish for free in the ponds stocked by the local Lions club next door to our full size Safeway in Fraser - 3 miles from the condo. Can you tell, we love it here and you will too. The condo was fully refurbished in 2007-2008 - is as good as new - come relax by the fireplace, enjoy our fully equipped kitchen or dine out at one of our 20 plus restuarants. We will have lots of advice and additional info - just ask us. Our job is to help you have a world class vacation and we aim to do just that. Hello - The Erwin's live in the Colorado mountains about 7 miles from our Beaver Village Condo. We love the great outdoors. We first came here in 1989 after John lost his leg in an accident - Winter Park has a world class program for disabled skiers. As we vacationed here - in summer and winter - we fell in love with the small town atmosphere in Winter Park, we bought 12 acres of land with some awesome mountain views and built our dream home and moved here in 2001. We love the great outdoors. You have to love snow - but the dry air in winter makes it very comfortable to do things outdoors. We have owned our condo for 20 years now and it gets nothing but tender loving care. John is on the Board for the condo association and helps insure the entire property and swimming pool building get great care and oversight. The time honored saying you will hear from others that live here is "we came here for the winters, we stayed for the summers. It is really awesome in summer with moderate temps and NO humidity. We love it. We never get tired of the beatiful drive between here and Denver where we often go to shop - there is no Costco in Winter Park!! We know you will love Winter Park as much as we do - we welcome your visit.

The condo was beautiful. Very clean and comfortable. Prices were reasonable, bus schedule was on time and easy to follow. High speed internet worked well for my laptop. Pool & hot tubs were also great. John was great to work with on reservations and other local information. We hope we can stay there again in the future. Leah & "boys"

I rented this condo for our 2011 ski trip. The location of the unit is wonderful. Parking and the shuttle stop are right by the door so there is no long hike after you park or get off the shuttle. The unit was equipped with everything we needed for cooking, dining, and relaxing. This was the first unit we have stayed in that we could all sit down at the table and eat at the same time (including when I have rented a 3 bdrm)! The kids had a great time playing in the snow right beside the building. We used the pool/hot tubs and the laundry facilities. Everything was clean and the clubhouse staff was friendly. John, the owner, is great to work with and provided lots of information about the unit and the area. I would definitely check the availablity on this unit before searching anywhere else for our next trip to WP.

This condo was wonderful! Very spacious, clean and cozy. The kitchen had everything you needed and great for cooking meals. It was so nice to come back after a full day of playing in the snow to the warmth of the fireplace. Not only was the condo wonderful, but the owner was also great to work with! I would highly recommend this Unit and We will return!

The condo was super clean & perfect for our family of 6. Very spacious & fantastic kitchen perfect for preparing family meals. We used the shuttle to the ski resort & it was a stress-free way of getting to the resort with 4 children. All-in-all, super happy with the condo & the amenities. Would highly recommend!

We really enjoyed staying at your condo. It was just perfect for us. It was quiet, roomy and we enjoyed the porch looking into the trees. We were a little concerned about the train when we got there, but by day two we didn't even hear it anymore. Your kitchen turned out great. We drove from Winter Park to Empire everyday.....what a gorgeous drive. We never got tired of it. Although, it is sad about the trees. I had no idea the damage had been so extensive. Our jeep trips were, fun, scenic and, at times scarey. The best part was that neither me nor my husband could think about work on this vacation. There was just way too much better stuff to take in. The condo was great and very comfortable for our family of five. The kitchen is new and very user friendly. Everything in the condo is very clean and well cared for. The staff at the Lodge is very friendly and happily exchanged towels, washcloths, etc. when needed. Beds were very comfortable! It is a wonderful home away from home. John, the owner, is a wealth of information and he gladly shares it. We found his recommendations and advice to be extremely helpful in planning our vacation. We will definitely be returning again!

Condo is in a great location close to the slopes and town. It is nicely furnished and has a great view - especially beautiful with a fresh snow. Plenty of room as well for our family of four. A nice bonus was the library of DVDs! Would definitely recommend.
