This country home is nestled in the heart of Amish Country in beautiful Southern lancaster county, Pennsylvania. The property is located in farm setting on a quiet country road, excellent for walking/biking through some of lancaster county's most beautiful farmland. We are located within 20 minutes of most major area attractions. Rockvale Square shopping, Dutch Wonderland Amusement Park, Sight and Sound Theatre. One hour from Hershey Pennsylvania.
Our 1800's house features a full kitchen, living room, and dining room. The larger of its two bedrooms has two queen-sized beds. The smaller has a double bed. An additional air mattress is also available. We provide the linens for up to eight persons. Two bathrooms, one with clawfoot tub, the other has a shower.
For a quiet country getaway Miriam's Guest House is a great retreat for your family or small group. Enjoy relaxing at the (shared) pool, or sitting on the front porch swing. In the winter months and cool evenings enjoy cozying up to the wood burning fireplace.

Had a quiet and relaxing stay in the lovely, spotlessly clean home. We really enjoyed swimming in the pool and the children loved the play area and the ride in the horse cart!
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children.

This house was the perfect house for our long weekend. Decorated in a country style, with beautifully maintained surrounding gardens, it was a lovely, homey getaway for us. The house was spacious and comfortable, and it was very clean, well kept, and stocked with necessities. Our group consisted of two couples and three small children. The pool and deck were comfortable and extremely clean and always ready for use. The family owns two horses and a pony, all of which would mosey on over to the guest house each morning to graze, adding to the country feel. This house is a MUST stay for anyone who wants a getaway to Lancaster. The house is far enough away from downtown Lancaster that you feel "secluded" and yet close enough to be able to take day trips into the downtown area. All in all, the house completely exceeded our expectations, and the owners were more than hospitable and welcoming!

I spent the weekend at Miriam's Guest home with my friends for a much needed girls get-away. It was a beautiful and peaceful place and all of us were able to relax and enjoy a little slice of heaven nestled in Lancaster County's farm country. I highly recommend experiencing this beautiful country home for yourself and your family. It is ideal for adults as well as children, with toys and games and even a play area and pool outside for entertainment without having to leave this little piece of paradise. I will definitely be returning to Miriam's Guest Home in the future! Thank you Miriam!
