We have stayed at Blue Fin several times and we have enjoyed each vacation. The location is perfect - easy access to the beach (especially with the beach cart provided), and quick access to the town of Duck (which is great for the kids who like to go for ice cream and shopping). Also, the house is on a cul-de-sac, so the traffic is minimal. The owners are constantly updating the house - new this year is a tiki bar by the pool! There are tennis courts available, and for bad-weather days, there is an indoor pool. Will plan on staying at Blue Fin again!
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, girls getaway, families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers, tourists without a car.

We loved our stay at the Blue Fin. We vacationed with 4 families (8 adults and 6 kids) and never felt crowded because the house is so roomy and spacious. There was plenty of room to socialize comfortably both inside and outside. The house was very clean. The kitchen was well-stocked with everythig we needed for a week of feasts. The kids loved the pool and the terrific swing set outside. They also loved riding bikes in the cul de sac (the adults loved that it was a safe play for them to ride). The clubhouse with the indoor pool was a great feature and we appreciated it on our one rainy morning. We liked being within walking distance to restaurants and stores. We would definitely return to this property.

Great house, and love Four Seasons - perfect place to be in the Outer Banks. So close to downtown Duck that you never need a car, and great amenities in the community. House has good layout for extended families vacationing together - lots of space to spread out and still keep an eye on the kids. Tennis and indoor pool/fitness center is a short walk away, which is great on a rainy day.

Everything about The Bluefin makes for a perfect family vacation. Every bedroom has it's own bathroom, the kids in our family loved the downstairs den for playing foosball and video games. The Ping Pong Table was added during our third summer vacation at The Bluefin and, for us, that put the it over the top! We are a family of tennis and table tennis players and we played every day! I even played by myself when everyone was sleeping! We absoluetly love the Town of Duck, which is literally around the corner, and the 4 Seasons community was great... even though the Bluefin has its own pool, the community pool offered an opportunity to go straight from the beach, to the pool to cool off and to have lunch! We can't wait to get back to The Bluefin. The playground and fenced in backyard, picnic table, grill... well, the bottom line is that The Bluefin had everything we needed for a terrific vacation in the Outer Banks. The owners of this property obviously take a lot of pride in making sure that the house and property exceed the needs of their guests! We can't wait to go back to The Bluefin!
