If your looking for a comfortable cabin with all the things you would need to have an enjoyable stay at the Wintergreen, Blue Ridge area of VA then this cabin has it. Plenty of space for a large family, cozy and inviting. Love that it had Wi-Fi, great selection of movies and privacy. Beautiful deck area and close to many attractions, Wintergreen of course, the Blue Ridge Parkway, UVA, Monticello, and Waltons Mountain, hiking and so many other wonderful things to do in VA. The owners were great to work with, you will not be disappointed with your stay at this mountain cabin.

I went up with my friends for my birthday. We had a great time, right up from the lodge. Very close and short walk to the slopes. The fireplace was great after a long day skiing and snowboarding. The owner was very gracious and responsive to our needs to make the stay wonderful.

We stayed in this chalet Oct. 8 to Oct. 11, 2010. When we first walked in we were struck at how sparkling clean everything was. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we could possibly need. The kids enjoyed the vast assortment of movies and games. We enjoyed eating on the deck every night with the leaves changing color around us. The location was close to everything, zipline, summer tubing, and hiking. Normally I'm very fussy about my mattress, but the beds here were incredibly comfortable and everyone slept well. We would definitely stay here again.

For requesting a booking last minute the owners were very helpful and accommodating. The home was perfect for our family as my daughter was getting married at a nearby vineyard. Everything was clean, beds very comfortable, and the location was perfect for walks to the nearby resort stores.

We had the best time...Easily walking distance from skiing...not to far if you want to see things in Charlottesville, or go hiking to Crabtree Falls!!! We also had some of the best sleep we ever had...Enjoyed the house thoroughly!!! Highly recommend staying there if you go to Wintergreen!!!

We could not have asked for a better home to escape to from the busyness of everyday life. While we had the feeling of being tucked away in the mountains, the home is perfectly situated within walking distance to skiing, tubing and much more! We relaxed by the fireplace in the evenings and had some of the best sleep we’ve had in a while. Even our kids (3/1/2 yrs and 4 mos.) slept better than they do at home! It was so fun having family meals at the table while looking out the windows at gorgeous mountain views. We absolutely loved our time here and would highly recommend staying at the Moore home to anyone desiring to come to Wintergreen. Thank you so much!

Thank you for a delightful stay at your wonderful home! We had the best time skiing, tubing, and enjoying our evenings relaxing by the fireplace. Location of your home in relation to activities at the resort is the BEST!

My husband and I spent an amazing fall weekend at the Moore's mountain home. It was our wedding anniversary and we couldn't have asked for a more spectacular location to celebrate. We were so comfortable in your lovely home-so cozy with a blazing fire on a cool autumn evening. The home has everything we needed and we will definitely go back again this fall!

We had a superb getaway weekend! Everything we could have needed is available in the chalet, which is spotlessly maintained. What a relaxing setting and a perfect place to find time "just for us"! It's the perfect distance (not too far) from Richmond but felt like a different world. Thank you for a great weekend escape! We'll be back!

Your cozy cottage was a perfect retreat for our first "siblings" weekend. My 3 sisters, 1 brother and I enjoyed the peaceful setting of Wintergreen. It was so convient to have the store located down the hill, along with the wonderful hiking trails (the fireman we ran into at the store was very helpful explaining the trails!) Thanks for opening your cottage to us.

Thank you so much for sharing your home with our family. We had a great weekend!!! Our 8 year old participated in the Mountain Explorers program so that she could work on her snow boarding skills and be with a group of kids her own age. I can't say enough wonderful things about the instructors and the quality of their program. On the third day they said that they had never had a kid progress as quickly as Hannah and offered her a day with an instructor all to herself!!!! Of course they all look like "Backstreet Boys"- needless to say she had a ball and it allowed us to ski at our own pace and know that she was challenged but having fun. We thank you and your husband for sharing your home with our family, and hope to return again!

As spoiled, whiny teenagers whose moms took them on a skiing, snowboarding trip, you'd think that we'd start complaining madly at the lst sign of mishap. However, your lovely home gave us absolutely nothing to complain about, which made us angry!....But all kidding aside, we really had a great weekend (in large part because of the warm fire to come back to after a long day on the slopes - hurrah! Thanks a ton!! ~ The Daughters from Bethesda Fog coming up, lovely fire, comfortable house. Mother/daughter weekend - girls on slopes, mothers at Spa. Looking forward to our return.
