Bike riding is a norm, quiet residential streets, the sound of birds and seagulls, and just a relaxing, laid back time! The house is updated in bright, Florida colors, has beadboard and designer touches throughout. There are NEW comfortable mattresses and linens throughout, a comfortable sleeper sofa, if necessary, and a fully equipped kitchen.
Terazzo floors are recently polished and shine throughout. This is a unique, comfortable port in the storm.

The Unique Benefits of this House
We love being close to the Rod and Reel Pier. My grandchildren spend most of their time on the pier...fishing, watching for dolphin and manatee and can't get enough of the seafood chowder!! It is a short walk to Bean Point....a beautiful spot on the beach where the gulf and bay waters meet. You will find us most evenings watching the sunset at Bean Point...a very special part of our days on the island. Mystic Seaport is a perfect location for the young and young at heart!!

We had a great time in AMI at Harry's Mystic Seaport! The house was neat, clean and well stocked with household items and beach supplies. Great location - easy beach/pier access. Can bike anywhere on the island from house. We enjoyed our stay and will be back.

We have stayed in several houses on the island and LOVED this one. House was cool and comfortable and we loved being across from the Rod and Reel Pier. The house was clean and tidy and we loved the cool terrazzo floors! We will definitely be back and would HIGHLY recommend!

We just spent 5 relaxing fun filled days on Anna Maria Island and stayed at Mystic Seaport. The location of the house is simply perfect. The north end of the island is our favorite since you get your choice of the calmer bay waters or the rolling gulf waters. In fact, Bean Point (northern tip) is a very short walk from Mystic Seaport where you can actually watch the bay and emerald color gulf waves crash into each other while relaxing with a good book on the white sandy beach. The house was very comfortable, clean and set the mood for a fun vacation. Not only was the home in very nice condition but the beds were more comfortable then our beds at home! We woke up every morning feeling rejuvenated. The house is located on a very quiet residential street. We saw more bicycles and people walking their dogs than cars. Across the street is the Rod and Reel Pier which serves delicious seafood, hamburgers and the best breakfast in town. Plus, it's amazingly cheap! If you're going to the island to golf, the Manatee golf course (public) is only a 20 minute drive from the house. You can watch the sunsets from Bean Point (very short walk) or simply walk across the street to the Rod and Reel Pier. Swim in either the gulf or the bay and maybe even see a manatee, large ray, shark, dolphin or even a possible logger head turtle. Over the years, we've seen all of these on the north end of the island. We've stayed at many places on the island over the past 20 years and Mystic Seaport has gone to our #1 spot of places we plan to return to. It's an excellent home and location for a relaxing family vacation or a get away with your loved one.

This is a fabulous place to stay. I'm happy for the owner that it has stayed booked, although now I doubt I'll ever be able to book just for a long weekend. I'll hope for the slow season. Loved walking to the pier and park. The place was very clean, bright and the decor wonderful. I changed my bedroom decor back home to remind me of the place and intergrated the colorful quilts that say it's Springtime at the beach. Can't wait to visit again.

What a wonderful place to spend with my wonderful children. Harry's Mystic Seaport is just perfect. We had a great time fishing at the Rod 'n Reel Pier and being a hop, skip, and jump away from the water. we couldn't have asked for anything better. Thanks for a great trip!
