Resting on the Ninth Fairway of the Village Golf Course, the unit also is steps from one of two well maintained pools,and heated spas. A short walk to tennis courts, golf pro shop and SPIKES, the clubhouse restaurant, as well as a well stocked grocery store and other shops.
Don't forget the barbeque area with a complete kitchen set up and grills for your poolside meals. If not, use the well stocked kitchen complete with 'aloha style' dining ware, George Foreman grill, microwave, blender, rice cooker, veggie steamer, i.e. all that you will need for great meals.
Only 25 minutes from the Kona International Airport, the condo is centrally located on the Big Island to afford easy travel to all attractions that the Big Island offers. Without the confusion of tourist traffic from hotels, the location of the unit allows for cool breezes when you need them and an authentic and restful environment after a fun-filled day of enjoying Big Island activities.
The unit is a spacious 1200 square feet of living space with all the amenities of home. Two large bedrooms, with two bathrooms, spacious closets (walk in-master room), washer and dryer, a spacious living and dining area, and a wonderful lanai complete with a mini bar. Refreshingly clean, new carpet and painting completed in 2006. Cupboards are stocked with beach towels, linens, and towels - don't bring a thing!
Cable TV upstairs and down... HD flat screened TV in the living room, a computer station and desk for your needs! To ensure complete service and cleanliness of the unit, we work with outstanding Hawaiian ohanas to enrues that the place is well kept up and clean for your arrival.
We replace all pillows annually and replace towels and bedding as well. Carpets are cleaning on a regular basis and the lanai has been recently tiled to ensure freshness and a healthy environment for your stay. Let some pictures stand for itself! We thoroughly enjoyed our 7 weeks at Pam's wonderful condo in Waikoloa Village. The condo is very well equipped and everything was in excellent condition. The view of the Pacific Ocean looking over the 9th fairway of the local golf course was stunning - especially at sunset. The grounds of the complex are impeccable and the pool facility is exceptional. The lanai is spacious and very comfortable. Neighbors are quiet and thoughtful. Waikoloa Village is a serene sort of place that is very safe and secure. It is not that old so it does not have a lot of character or charm but it is very handy to the coast and to the great little town of Waimea (Kamuela). The shopping center is very handy and the village market is an exceptional grocery store. If golf is your thing, Waikoloa is perfect. The home course is challenging but fair, Other local course like Big Island and Makalei are superb. If you want to spend big bucks on the resort courses, there are at least 4 within a 20 minute drive. Great restaurants in Kawaihae and at the resorts. Beaches are amazing - A Bay, Spencer, Mauna Kea, Hapuna. Also, make sure to go north to Hawi for food, galleries and an excellent farmer's market on Saturdays.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers.

We were pleasently suprise at how nice the condo was for the price we paid. The place is nicely laid out for a family with two kids (us) or two couples. We felt it was very spacious open and airy. The decor is nicely updated with a personal Island style touch that made us feel we very comfortable. The beds were very comfortable and the linens where soft. The kitchen was very well stocked and again felt like we were visiting a friends place rather than a generic vacation rental. The Lanai overlooks the pool and golf course and we could see the ocean from it. A bonus is that it faces more sw so you don't get the full sun in the afternoon, at least not in the spring. We ate breakfast on it almost every morning to the sounds of the birds and the trade winds rustling the palm trees. The pool, hot tub and grill area are about 50 paces from the base of the stairs and were in nice shape, generally very quite with few people. Overall the complex was very quite and well maintained with what appeared to be a community of mainly condo owners or well seasoned snow bird vacationers. The condo, which is well stocked with beach gear, is only about 15 minutes by car from one of the best beaches on the island; Beach 69, which has great snorkling, sometimes good body surfing and shaded areas to lounge on the coral sand. Also Spencer beach state park is not far north and has good tennis and basketball courts. Up north about 45 minutes is Bamboo restaurant in Hawi, great pacific rim faire with a fun funky open air feel, the town is also delightful. Down south the best place we ate was Annie's Island fresh burgers. Skip the lines and the crowds at the Kona Brewpup drive 15 more minutes south and dine on fresh ground island beef or catch of the day in the tree tops overlooking the ocean. Serves was fast and friendly and the atmosphere laid back. The reservation process for the condo was easy, quick and hassle free thanks to Pam's timely, clear, responsive and informative emails. I am highly recommending her and Buzz's place to my friends and family. Mahalo Buzz and Pam for a great 10 days! The condo is perfect, fully furnished and very clean. Exceeded our expectations even though my brother and sister-in-law had raved about their time at your condo, we were still very impressed. Everything you need is provided. Steps from the pool / BBQ area, great view from the lani, perfect place to relax after a day of golf or sight seeing. Close to the golf course pro shop, great view of the course and ocean, close enough to the beaches and other attractions, best of all really quiet! Already planning a return visit. MAHALO!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.

The condo superceded our thoughts, clean, well maintained and we will recommend it to friends. Pam was very nice to deal with, price was fair, all questions and concerns were dealt with pleasantly and very promptly. We will definitely return.Recommended for: Age 55+.

I've stayed in Waikoloa a number of times, and had a regular spot, but when it was rented during my last visit, I had to scramble to find a place. Thankfully I found this beautiful condo! Pam was great to work with too, and gave us an incredible rate even for the short time period! The view of the eighth and ninth fairway are only superseded by the beautiful view of the ocean. Plus, we could finally walk to the clubhouse from the condo to tee off! Super convenient. The pool and outdoor kitchen area is super close for convenient cooking (we're a bbqing family). The kids loved the pool and jacuzzi. We'll definitely be back! Thanks Pam! =)Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with young children.

My wife and I just spent a few days at Buz and Pam's condo and all we can say is "beautiful". Great location, nice trade winds and very pretty sunsets. The condo has all of the conveniences of home! Its near the golf course, grocery store and gas station...close enough to walk to. Thanks Buz and Pam!!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway.

After many years of visiting all of the islands, we continued to return to The Big Island. Not as commercial as the other islands, you get many more benefits with this island, from the ocean to the famous Mauna Kea mountain range. The Kohala coast has by far the best beaches in the world. Plus you still see Hawaiians and the culture that they live in.

Benefits include all the amenities of a resort hotel without the cost. We are located 5 minutes from the ocean and the famous Hapuna Beach. We are also located 30 minutes from the Mauna Kea. Our golf course is spectacular. As nice as others in the resort area but not as much wind. Our condo is so peaceful and full of pleasant people....both locals and people like us. Literally steps from our place is a lovely pool with spa and a large barbeque area.
The market, Waikoloa Village Market, is ideal for shopping also. When you want to go to the touristy area, only 5 minutes away. The best of the best.
