This updated, comfortable, and clean year-round ranch is located in a quiet, out-of-the-way neighborhood.
The house is close to scenic Route 6A for shops, antiques, the Cape Cod Playhouse for live theatre during the summer months, and near Route 6 for easy access to other areas of Cape Cod, such as Provincetown and Hyannis for shopping, sightseeing, and access to the cruise lines to Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard for day trips. Also, Route 28 is a short drive away for entertainment, shopping, and a variety of restaurants.
Close by are several golf courses, the Bass River for kayaking and boat cruising, and the Cape Cod Rail Trail is only a quarter mile away for biking and hiking. Dennis is famous for its many beaches located on both the Bayside and Nantucket Sound. On the Bayside are Mayflower and Corporation, which are well-known for their expansive beaches and spectacular sunsets. West Dennis Beach is easily accessible on Nantucket Sound. There are also many freshwater beaches in the area.
Shopping centers are nearby on Rte 134 with shops, restaurants, and grocery stores either to eat in or to carry out lunches/snacks, or pick up lobsters and other seafood for an at-home dinner. There's also a variety of restaurants in the area - from fine dining to clam shacks.
Most all appliances are brand new, including a new gas range/oven, dishwasher, and washer-dryer. The kitchen has a large table to seat 6 and is well stocked with dishes, glassware, utensils, pots and pans.
The sunroom off the kitchen is a great place for morning coffee or to relax after a day on the beach. The sunroom's sliders lead to the patio and a large, private back yard that has an outdoor dining set, several Adirondack chairs to relax in, a charcoal grill and barbeque tools - all set to cook hamburgers and hot dogs after having had a great day at the Cape. There's an outdoor enclosed hot water shower in the backyard with a clothesline to hang wet beach towels and bathing suits. The inside bathroom has a tub/shower combo.
The cheerful living room has a large picture window overlooking the front yard, a gas fireplace, berber carpeting, and plenty of seating.
The master bedroom is spacious and bright with a queen-size bed; the 2nd bedroom has two twin beds; the 3rd bedroom has a full bed and twin bed. The 2nd and 3rd bedrooms are cheerful-looking each having two windows bringing in a lot of light. All bedrooms have closets. There are plenty of pillows and blankets available. Sheets and pillowcases are located in each bedroom for your use if you prefer not to bring your own. All beds have bedspreads or coverlets. Normally, bath and beach towels are not supplied, but if you can't bring your own, they can be made available for a small fee.

- Two shopping centers are nearby to pick up groceries or prepared lunches for a day at the beach. The house is within easy driving distance to Mayflower Beach and Corporation Beach. The beginning of the Cape Cod Rail Trail (a paved area for biking or walking) is about 1/4 mile away. There are historic lighthouses to view in nearby towns; also golf courses, kayaking, theatres with live entertainment (the Playhouse in Dennis and Melody Tent in Hyannis), many restaurants of all price ranges, Bass River cruising, kayaking, whale watching, a nearby flea market, and many shopping and antiquing opportunities. The National Seashore in Provincetown is a great place to visit, or take a boat trip to Nantucket or Martha's Vineyard.

We just had a fabulous time here. We gathered family from (four states) for a great time together. The biking trails were fabulous--cool even on the hottest days. Thanks for furnishing the house w/essentials for vacation--beach chairs, umbrellas, patio table and chairs, nice grill, movies (we watched 2) and plenty of cooking utensils, dishes, etc. A/C was welcome as the humidity climbed. Nice theater in Chatham (Monomoy) and restaurant Scargo's (Dennis)- scallops perfect! Thanks again!

Had a great vacation in Dennis. We just love this part of the Cape! We went to Corporation Beach almost every day. Had a great dinner at Chapin's. Did some great shopping. We enjoyed your home very much. The A/C was great for the few days of humidity. Thanks for letting us stay here.

Enjoyed a great week here. We appreciated the amenities and cleanliness of the house. We enjoyed the back yard! Chapin Beach in the evening, mini-golf, go-carts and great seafood and ice cream (Sundae School! Yum!)We loved the rail trail bike path. Thank you. P.S. We had a great day shopping in Chatham Center and after seeing the lighthouse, we stopped at the Nickerson Fishing Pier to watch the boats unload their catches and saw three seals!

Fun time - hikes were fun - cool time of year but made the best of it - from gorgeous Chapin Beach sunset to seals at Pier in Chatham. Ocean House Restaurant still the best. Thank you for seeing to every detail. Enjoyed fireplace and Hit Parade music and movies too.

Another fantastic trip! We made it to the beach four straight days - then a bit of rain! Love Sesuit Harbor Cafe and tried out Grumpy's - great food. We take with us super family memories again!
