We are pleased to welcome you to our charming waterfront home in beautiful Key Allegro (a community located in Rockport, TX). Our rates are 25-30% less than renting through the local rental agencies. PLEASE check the calendar before sending inquiries.
We recently completed construction of the enclosure of our downstairs. We added on a 5th bedroom, 4th bathroom and new TV/Game room. The main entrance to the home is now on the ground level.
In addition, the deck, stairs and upstairs railing in the back of the home have been completely remodeled as of June 2011.
Our home is located on a quiet canal and offers 5 bedrooms and 4 full bathrooms. The interior and exterior have been completely re-painted! As mentioned above, we added on the downstairs addition for extra room!
WE ONLY ALLOW AS MANY PEOPLE AS ARE ABLE TO SLEEP IN BEDS (11 adults and one baby max).
Description of bedrooms:
Bedroom 1: [Sleeps 2] Master bedroom has king sized bed, ceiling fan, 36" flat panel TV with cable/DVD player, two closets and a private updated bathroom. This bedroom was recently painted and updated with beautiful new linens. The bathroom has also been remodeled (new paint, shower and countertops). The window in the room looks out onto the canal.
Bedroom 2: [Sleeps 2] Bedroom with king sized bed, ceiling fan, new 30" flat panel TV with cable and VCR/DVD and a large closet. Shares a bathroom with bedroom 3. The bathroom was recently remodeled. The bedroom was recently painted and updated with new linens! The bedroom also offers a private balcony overlooking the canal.
Bedroom 3: [Sleeps 2] Bedroom with NEW king sized bed, ceiling fan, 20" flat panel TV with Dvd player, many books to borrow and a large closet. Shares a bathroom (recently updated) with Bedroom 2. This bedroom was recently painted and updated with new linens!
Bedroom 4: [Sleeps 3] Located downstairs with new queen bed and one new twin bed and private bathroom (shower only). This bedroom was recently painted and updated with new carpet and linens! The room also has a new flat panel TV and DVD player. This room has a window that looks out onto the canal.
Bedroom 5: NEW room! [Sleeps 2] Located downstairs with a king bed, ceiling fan, new flat panel TV/DVD player and closet. NEW, full bathroom is across the hall. This bedroom has a window that looks out onto the canal.
BABY CRIB- We also have a full size baby crib in one of the bedrooms downstairs.
All linens are provided, including a few beach towels.
We have WIFI for those needing to use their computers. There is an access code, so we will have to give it to you.
The upstairs living area offers an open plan with a large living room and connecting dining area (main dining table seats 8, but we have another small table that seats 4). The living room has a new 42" flat panel TV with a DVD player- satellite and cable. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you will need! Also, if you are bringing kids along, we have a closet full of games and toys for them to borrow! We have also installed a baby gate at the top of the interior stairs.
Upstairs, the house has a covered balcony on the back of the house overlooking the water with 4 rocking chairs for you to enjoy your morning coffee! The balcony also offers an additional seating area with ceiling fan. There is also a gate at the top of the exterior stairs for safety.
The NEW downstairs living room has a sitting area with a new flat panel TV/DVD player, celing fan and a view of the canal.
The house has a full (brand new) washer and dryer (downstairs).
The NEW deck has plenty of space to be in the Texas sunshine or for reading a good book in the shade. So sit back and relax in one of the chaise lounges! This is also a great place to BBQ- as we offer a gas BBQ grill to use.
For boat lovers, the deck has enough space to dock a boat. If you love to fish, there is a fish cleaning stand built onto the deck for your convenience. There is also an outdoor shower to rinse off after swimming!
Bring along your floats and rafts to swim in the canal! There is a ladder for getting in and out of the water easily. If you prefer a swimming pool, Key Allegro offers a community pool close to the Marina. Please note the pool requires an access key which we will provide to you.
The house has plenty of parking in the driveway.
Key Allegro also many streets for strolling, jogging or bike riding. You can also walk to the "shell beach" in about 5 minutes from our house as well!
The bay, water-skiing and jet skiing areas and the public beach are all easily accessible by boat (and by car) from our house.
Located just minutes from the local shopping and great restaurants, this house will be the perfect place for your family to vacation!
Things to Note:
Renters must be over 25 years old.
MAXIMUM GUESTS= 11 adults and 1 baby.
No pets allowed
No smoking allowed
30% Deposit or payment in full required upon booking depending on time of booking (see below)
$75 maid fee upon departure
Deposit and Cancellation Policies:
All renters will be asked to give a damage deposit of $200 and credit card information upon booking. We do not require you pay the rental with a credit card, we just need the information on file. This $200 damage deposit is refundable and will be mailed to you approximately one week after your departure.
In addition:
Booking 60 or more days out: 30% of the total amount is required upon booking.
Balance is due 30 days prior to arrival.
Booking 59 days or less out: Full payment due upon booking.
We accept checks and credit cards* for payments.

This home was so much fun for my family and friends. There was plenty of room for everyone. It was clean and well kept. The convience of how close to all the stores and resturants was so nice. Perfect home for your next vacation.

We had a family reunion at this beautiful house this past July. We all had a wonderful time. The decks were used continuously as the kids and guys fished off the dock. The spaciousness of the house was very comfortable for our group. We would love to come back for another stay!

Thank you for opening your beautiful home to our family. My husband and I shared your home with my sister, aunt, cousin and family. We had a wonderful time together seeing since we don't get to see each other often. The house was very clean and the pictures on the website are very acurate. Your home is located in a beautiful area on the canal. We did not do much in Rockport (rained some of the time), went to the beach a couple of times. Mainly stayed at the house and fished or tried to (haha) and cooked out. Made some amazing fajita's and hamburgers on the grill. We have definaltely found our extended home in Key Allegro. Be back soon. Thanks Again.

I want to thank you and your family for allowing us to use your beautiful home for the holidays. The house was perfect. I can't tell how much I appreciated all the cooking equipment you have - it was by far the most well stocked rental we have ever had. Fishing was pretty good - kids had a great time and the weather was perfect. All the stores in town were open which has not always been so that was fun to pick up last minute Texas trinkets. Everything in the house worked perfect. Kids want to do this again next year - can't decide if they want to come for Christmas or Thanksgiving, but I hope we can rent your home again. Our family spent two weeks in this gorgeous home. The first week was with friends and the second with family. We hung out, fished off the dock (only caught a few hard heads, but not complaining, we didn't want to clean them!), went to Rockport and Port Aransas beaches. The community pool here wonderful, it never had more than a couple of people there and was well cared for. Shell beach (a small little area up at the breakers) was great - I don't think I'd let the kids swim there, but we went up there several nights looking for good shells. The balcony is perfect in the morning to relax and begin the day - the lower deck had lots of seating and was great for chilling out at with a nice drink in the evenings. Rockport is a great little town and we cannot wait to return - and stay in this beautiful home again. Thank you to the owners for sharing. PS. We highly recommend Panjo's Pizza in town - best pizza we've ever had)

We were the first to stay in this house after the re-model and LOVED it! I was so excited to find a home that fit all of our needs. The ages in our group ranged from 5 months to 75 years and each person was comfortable and had a great time. Thank you to the owners who were curtious, gracious and welcoming. We highly recommend this home and will defintely be back to enjoy it again.
