DESCRIPTION:
Mer Sea is a true ocean-front three bedroom/three bath luxury penthouse villa at fabulous High Pointe Resort, perfectly located right next to all the excitement of Rosemary Beach. No expense has been spared in creating Northwest Florida's premier luxury condominium. Occupying the entire west end of the top (fourth) floor of the gulf front building, the views are totally private from every room, offering sweeping ocean panoramas and year-round sunset views. Sophisticated and chic, Mer Sea is at the same time casual, very children-friendly, and certain to delight everyone in the group.
With nearly 2000 square feet of interior living area and a spacious, 750 square foot Italian tiled wrap-around terrace encircling the villa, there is ample room for up to a maximum of 8-12 guests. There are two ocean view master suites, each with king bed, 32" Samsung LCD TV, and direct terrace access. Each also has an ensuite all-travertine full bath with oversize showers, twin vanities with granite countertops, separate water closets, dressing areas, and either a Synchrony garden tub or exercise area. The third bedroom has two full-size beds and two twins (bunks) for a total of 4 beds in this room, as well as an ensuite full bath (which is also hallway accessible). There is a comfortable queen sofabed in a semi-private living area alcove, yielding total sleeping accommodations for up to twelve.
Because of its spaciousness, intelligent floorplan, and quiet top floor location, Mer Sea truly has more the feel of a "home in the sky" than an ordinary condominium. The airy ambiance of a European coastal villa is enhanced by carefree design elements such as travertine and Italian tile flooring throughout, all with stunning blue ocean vistas as the perfect backdrop.
AMENITIES:
A long list of amenities includes a gourmet chef's kitchen, 6 LCD TVs (in each of the 3 bedrooms, both master baths, and living room), 2 DVD players and movie library with selections for all ages, free wireless high speed internet, high end furnishings, Synchrony garden tub, exercise area with stationary bicycle, large bedrooms and bathrooms, and ensuite laundry room. Four folding beach chairs (inside the condo) are also provided for your use. A separate closet contains a crib and highchair. Access to the condo is via a roomy elevator; there are no steps either to the condo or to the pool and gulf-front restaurant. Parking for four cars.
HIGH POINTE RESORT:
The only true full-service gulf front resort in the area, High Pointe features a fantastic 7000 square foot tropical lagoon pool with islands and waterfalls, separate kiddie pool, large (20 ft) heated spa, lighted clay tennis courts, shuffleboard, outdoor grilling area, children's playground, a fabulous gulf front bar and grill, and of course 600 feet of private, unspoiled beach. Renowned Rosemary Beach, with all its dining, shopping, biking, and entertainment opportunities, is only a very short stroll (500 feet) to the east, as is emerging Alys Beach to the west. High Pointe is a tropically landscaped, low density resort with a gated entrance from Florida Scenic 30A, and its facilities are for the exclusive private use of the guests. Parking for up to 4 cars.

I want to write and thank you for sharing your beautiful "Mer Sea" with us. We spent the week lounging on the beach or hanging out on the terrace watching dolphins frolicking in the gulf...it was perfect! My husband and our 10 year old son took the kayak out and got up close and personal with some dolphins which was totally cool. Another highlight was snorkeling and seeing all kinds of different species of fish while being able to hear the dolphins communicating with each other...it was, as our son put it with a huge smile on his face, "AWESOME!" The steakhouse "Chops" was the only restaurant we dined out at and it was outstanding food and we highly recommend. We got lots of great pictures of the sunsets. Everyone at Sunburst was a pleasure to work with, as were you. We appreciate all that was done to make our trip so enjoyable. We had a wonderful family vacation at Mer Sea! We loved Rosemary Beach and all its beauty! We have such wonderful family memories with our five children, Joanna, 23, Chad, 19, Patrick, 18, Rachel, 17, and Ben, 16. We made a wish at the beach when we left and tossed a shell into the ocean.
