All the conveniences of home

This apartment was easy to find and we were so appreciative of Paulo being there to greet us and show us how everything works. It was convenient to have everything one would have at home as well as books on Rome and a binder with useful information like bus schedules. We liked the location, probably an 8 minute walk to the metro stop. The building was set back a bit from the road, so it was surprisingly quiet. I loved that there was internet and a laptop provided. Clean, well-maintained and perfectly stocked. I think we got a great deal. I would absolutely recommend this to a friend.

I recently returned from a stay in this apartment. The apartment was just as described, and the location was convenient to public transit. Nicoletta was very helpful showing us how things worked in the apartment, and the tips/guides provided were very useful. I would highly recommend.

WHAT A PLEASURE TO SPEND 10 WONDERFUL DAYS IN ROME, HAVING THIS CHARMING APARTMENT BE YOUR "HOME." THE APARTMENT IS SPACIOUS, FULL OF LIGHT, WITH TALL CEILINGS & PLEASING VIEWS. IT'S TASTEFULLY FURNISHED. ITS THOUGHTFUL OWNERS HAVE ANTICIPATED YOUR EVERY NEED, EVEN PROVIDING A LITTLE SEWING KIT, AN UMBRELLA IN CASE IT RAINS, A SCALE TO WEIGH YOUR SUITCASE BEFORE FLYING HOME. THE APARTMENT IS IN A NICE NEIGHBORHOOD ON A BROAD AVENUE. MY HUSBAND & I FELT SAFE THERE, COMFORTABLE STROLLING AROUND, DISCOVERING LOCAL FARE. NEARBY IS THE WONDERFUL TRIONFALE MARKET, FEATURING THE FRESHEST OF PRODUCE, BAKED GOODS, FISH, MEAT, CHICKEN & WINE FROM NEARBY FARMS & VINEYARDS. WE ENJOYED SHOPPING THERE & CREATING SUMPTUOUS MEALS LATER AT THE APARTMENT. THE VATICAN IS ALSO NEARBY. WE BOUGHT A WEEKLY TRANSIT PASS, WITH UNLIMITED RIDES ON THE BUS & SUBWAY. WE CAUGHT THE BUS IN FRONT OF OUR BUILDING & RODE ALL OVER, TRANSFERRING WITH EASE. THE BUS ALLOWED US TO SEE SO MUCH MORE OF ROME BECAUSE WE TRAVELED ABOVE GROUND. THANKFULLY THERE WAS A LAPTOP WITH INTERNET ACCESS IN THE APARTMENT, SO WE COULD GET USEFUL TRANSIT INFORMATION, SCHEDULES & OTHER TOURIST INFORMATION. WE ALSO APPRECIATED THE TRAVEL GUIDES ON HAND IN THE APARTMENT. AFTER A DAY OF SIGHTSEEING IN CONGESTED DOWNTOWN ROME, IT WAS SUCH A PLEASURE TO RETURN "HOME" TO A MORE RESIDENTIAL AREA TO THE COMFORTS OF OUR LOVELY APARTMENT. WE FEEL PRIVILEGED TO HAVE HAD SUCH PLEASANT ACCOMODATIONS IN ROME. THANK YOU, NICOLETTA AND PAOLO, FOR MAKING US FEEL SO WELCOMED AND COMFORTABLE IN ROME!

My husband and I stayed at this apartment for one week in May, and thoroughly enjoyed it. The apartment itself is incredibly spacious (we almost felt like it was more room than we needed with just the two of us), clean, and exactly as pictured online. The building was safe, quiet and well located. I have to say that the metro stop was just a bit far away for my taste, especially after long days of sightseeing, probably at least a 15 minute walk, but still doable. We also had the power go out on us at one point, but Paolo was very responsive and helped fix it right away.

I would like to thank Nicoletta and Paolo for allowing us the opportunity to stay at their wonderful apartment for an entire month. I loved coming home everyday to this place, it was peaceful, spacious and comfortable. We had everything we needed. If you want to cook while at the apartment, all your basic needs are there. Loved the bathroom! The apartment is situated in the perfect location, the Vatican Museum, St. Peter's Basilica and Castel Sant' Angelo are only a walk away. I'm a big history fan, so being surrounded by all this history was perfect. The metro stop (Ottaviano) is only about 8 mins away. I would not hesitate to book this apartment on my next trip to Rome. Loved the apartment, loved Roma!

It was a very nice experience. The owner very friendly. The apartment has everything you can need. The supermarket was very close. Everything was clean. The building was great too. It was quiet. There are several restaurants in the area too . The bedroom is big and the location is very convenient for us. The metro is about 600 meters from the building and you can go everywhere

Anyone who would like to experience life in a typical Roman neighborhood will enjoy a stay in this apartment on Via Della Giuliana in Prati. This immaculately clean and tastefully decorated apartment is quiet, airy, and bright, with a large bedroom, living room, and kitchen. Use of the computer was really helpful. The apartment is in a safe neighborhood away from the tourist areas but within easy walking distance of the Vatican as well as the Ottaviano metro station. Bus lines run along Via Della Giuliana. Nicoletta and Paolo provide a complete guide to area shops, markets, and restaurants. We enjoyed every day of our 2-week stay and hope to return soon. Linda and Frank, San Diego, California

We have recently returned home after spending a week at this lovely apartment. We could not have been more comfortable. The apartment was spacious, breezy, attractive -- every conceivable need anticipated. The neighborhood is nice; public transportation just outside the door; and a very modern supermarket minutes away. Everyone we encountered was gracious and kind, including the person who welcomed us to the apartment and explained in detail how everything worked. Comments in the "guest book" were all superlative, and tips and suggestions regarding restaurants most appreciated. We were very pleased with our stay and recommend Signora Bevilacqua's property without hesitation. Carol Anne and John

We stayed in this apartment for 5 nights in early January 08. We found it to be a wonderful place to stay and very convenient to buses in rome and short walk to the Metro and the Vatican. It is well equipped and comfortable, with all the little extras provided. The apartment is spacious and suitable for our family of 3 adults. Parking out the front of the building is very difficult, but there is a payment garage only 50 metres away. The provision of a laptop and broadband internet for free makes it even better value. We highly recommend it as your base in Rome. Extremely good value compared to many other places on the web.

Hello Nicoletta We are back in Australia now but we look back on our stay in Rome as one of the highlights of our holiday. We stayed in several apartments in Italy but yours was our favourite by far. We really appreciated its warmth, cleanliness and supplies of everything you could need. And it was so spacious and attractive! We wanted to let you know that staying there was very enjoyable for us. Thank you again, Cheers from Australia, Moya, Glen and George
