Very private secluded location, wooded on both sides. Located on Co 25 and only 1/2 mile to Hwy 34 and the Heartland State Trail for biking and hiking. Private short hiking trail around the bay. Or for a 10K, bike or hike the loop around the west half of 11th Crow Wing Lake. You will enjoy the flower gardens and over 50 hostas. Private bonfire area near the lake and a large patio for sunning and picnicking right off the dining area. Enjoy the hummingbirds when they come to the feeder. Akeley is home to the popular Woodtick Musical summer theatre and there is an authentic German restaurant one mile away. Walker, MN to the east and Park Rapids to the west offer golf, movies, shopping and other activities. Only 40 minutes away from Itasca State Park.
