Lovely unique lake home on the edge of Soli Bay overlooking 11th Crow Wing Lake. Comfy 1600 square feet of home away from home. Very private secluded location, wooded on both sides. Located on Co 25 and only 1/2 mile to Hwy 34 and the Heartland State Trail for biking and hiking. Private short hiking trail around the bay. Or for a 10K, bike or hike the loop around the west half of 11th Crow Wing Lake.

You will enjoy the flower gardens and over 50 hostas. Private bonfire area near the lake and a large patio for sunning and picnicking right off the dining area. Enjoy the hummingbirds when they come to the feeder.

Akeley is home to the popular Woodtick Musical summer theatre and there is an authentic German restaurant one mile away. Walker, MN to the east and Park Rapids to the west offer golf, movies, shopping and other activities. Only 40 minutes away from Itasca State Park.

  • WOW - what a wonderful place to vacation! So much to do. We went paddleboating, swimming (great swimming raft in the bay off the lake), fishing, had campfires, grilled, and went biking on the trails. Thank you also for the games and movies in the house, great evening activities. We will absolutely be back again and again!

  • What a wonderful spot! We vacationed here last year. Saw baby loons floating with their mother and father on the lake. Fishing is great - caught several walleyes! We really enjoyed having a fire by the lake and just relaxing. It was so quiet and the sky is unbelievable. You can see millions of stars in this northern sky! We are hoping to get back to northern MN and stay at this great place again this August!

    These are comments via email we received from guests from Chicago: Hi Sharon & Phil - Thank you so much for the wonderful vacation lake house. It was far more than we expected. The backyard was just like being on some estate, and the inside was so homey and cute. I especially loved all the blankets here and there, and the view from the upstairs TV Room / loft. I have to work on getting some of the kids to make the long trip again - but I am all for it. I will also recommend your place to anyone who asks me. It is a great house, lake, property, and town for a family getaway. If it helps, I can type words like these for others to see either into the website or wherever you like.
