Professionally decorated, immaculate two bedroom, two bath Club Villa featuring a beautiful golf course view from a private screened porch and from inside the villa. Master bedroom has a new king-size bed; second bedroom has a queen-size bed and love-seat convertible to a twin bed. Second bedroom also has a breakfast bar, microwave, small refrigerator and full bathroom. Cable TV in each room with new CD/DVD sound system with IPod Docking Station in living room. The villa is equipped with high speed internet.
The living room sofa converts to a queen bed. Eight-ten people can be accommodated for dining together. Screened porch is furnished and a great place to enjoy morning coffee or a relaxing meal. Nice swimming pool with poolside furniture, a restroom and changing area less than 100 yards away.

St. James Plantation has been rated the number one Coastal Community in the Carolinas. It is a beautiful place to relax! This villa has a quiet, central location within the gated plantation. The amenities abound and include 81 holes of championship golf designed by Nicklaus, Hale Irwin, Pete Dye and Tim Cate. The Plantation recently hosted the NC Open Championship tournament. Other amenities for your enjoyment include tennis, a marina on the intracoastal waterway with dockside fine dining and coffee shop/grocery as well as boat launching and daily and overnite docking, fitness center, parks, walking/biking trails, multiple outdoor swimming pools, indoor pool and hot tub, sauna and steam room, restaurants, and oceanfront private beach house with swimming pool located minutes away on Oak Island. Southport is just minutes away and is a quaint, historic fishing village known for its annual Independence Day festival, King Mackerel fishing tournament, antique and boutique shops, great seafood and beautiful sunsets. Charter fishing trips and sailing are available in Southport. Rent a kayak for a day and explore the nearby marsh channels. Visit the historic Bald Head Island lighthouse while touring this quaint, secluded island by golf cart or bicycle - a great day trip. Both Wilmington (30 minutes) and Myrtle Beach (one hour) are easily reached by car.

  • We have visited St. James Plantation several times, and this is, by far, our favorite villa. The view is great, the furnishings are quite nice (great mattresses!), the villa is very clean, and the owners are delightful to work with. It is much more like a private home than a rental property! I am not a person who typically does surveys or comments on properties where we have stayed, but I just had to share this with others!

  • What an outstanding time we had at this villa! It is beautifully decorated, comfortable, and spacious. Our favorite place in the villa is the private screened in porch with the spectacular golf course view. We enjoyed relaxing and drinking coffee out on that wonderful porch! Our daughter liked the close proximity of the pool. It was nice to be able to walk right to the pool and cool off after an afternoon of golfing. We loved the beautiful oceanfront beach house with the nice swimming pool. We also liked the marina where we chartered a boat, toured Bald Head Island, and explored the marsh channels. The combination of swimming, boating, beach combing, and golfing make this the PERFECT getaway spot. It has everything we needed to make our vacation special and memorable.

  • We stayed in several club villas when looking to purchase property in St. James Plantation. Once we stayed in this villa it became our top rental choice. This unit is decorated very nicely and is very comfortable. The king size bed is a nice plus and the golf course view very relaxing. Although we now live in St. James we would not hesitate renting this villa for overflow out of town guests.

The St. James Plantation amenities are the finest we have found on the NC coast. We have already booked a reservation to stay again!

  • What a wonderful time we had in your villa at Southport! We spend the 4th of July week in your villa and it felt like home. The furnishings were first class! We enjoyed the view from your screened in porch as we sipped our morning coffee.The pool was close by and the facilities at the club were super. The owners are very nice and they make sure that your stay is enjoyable from start to finish. Thanks for sharing your villa with us. We hope to return in the future.
