This newly-renovated luxury home is located on West Forest Road, one of the few residential streets built on Vail Mountain and a very short walk to the ski slope above the Gondola in Lionshead Village. The owners have spared no expense in choosing high-end finishes. The kitchen is fabulous!

The 3rd bedroom has two full-size beds and a private bathroom. The 4th bedroom has a full-size bed and a private bathroom. The 5th bedroom has two twin beds, a private bathroom, and is adjacent to the downstairs play/media room. 6 bathrooms total. I had the pleasure of visiting this spectacular mountain retreat in the heart of Vail’s prestigious ski resort town. Nestled into the mountainside, this luxurious home was a perfect haven. October is the best time to see the changing fall colors and the aspen trees were in glorious shades of gold! My friends and I took advantage of the view while soaking in the very private hot tub just off the master bedroom.
This fantastic mountain home boasts a large gourmet kitchen with top of the line appliances. We were not disappointed. We had no trouble finding everything we needed to prepare a big family dinner to enjoy around the dining table.
The shuttle bus was within a short walk and took us from east Vail to the west end of town. There were a variety of shops in-between to cater to your every whim, not to mention a skating rink, a library and plenty of choices for dining.
After skiing, shopping, hiking or whatever your choice of activity, it’s a great treat to come back to this spacious luxury hideaway. Pamper yourself in the jetted master bath, take a steam shower or just relax in the six-person hot tub, and the little cubbies loved the game room where they had a big flat screen TV all to themselves.

Great home, terrible management, no soundsystem and fake photos of hot tub

We stayed here from Jan 12-16, 2 main issues The photos show the hot tub on the upper deck, where it is nice and open with views of trees. The hot tub is actually on the lower back deck, jammed in between the retaining wall and house so it feels like you are in a cave. The sound system did not work when we arrived. The CD player was broken and although the house was wired with speaker we could not get them to work. We called management and they sent over and friendly and informed tech guy who worked on it for an hour, he was not able to fix it. I called management company the following day to tell them speaker still were not working, they did not seem to care or know what to do. Our entire stay we were not able to play music in the house which was a huge disappointed. More importantly, I don’t think there were any plans to actually fix or figure out what was wrong with speakers that following guest will have the same problem.
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, girls getaway, families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers.
