The cottage is in the perfect location if you like to walk on the beach and enjoy a magnificent sunset. Maxwelton Beach is known as the best place for sunsets on Whidbey Island! Our community is a no-bank beach front location (which means no hills or steep grades to climb down) and our cottage is just steps away from beach access.
The bedrooms feature comfortable beds, 100% Egyptian cotton-super soft- sateen sheets and down comforters. We have a collection of pillows from which to choose for that perfect nights sleep. In the kitchen you will find everything you need to prepare a meal for dinner on the deck, or barbeque on the outdoor grill.

Celebrating our 35th Anniversary for the first time at MBC. We have stayed at many vacation rentals and MBC was fabulous. So comfy from decor, furniture, bathroom, outside AND so very clean, even the garage was beautiful The beach and sunsets were wonderful too ! Loved the bathroom with beautiful tile and all of the Bathworks soaps. Bed was lucious. Kitchen was well appointed with everything. Must go to Freeland Hallmark shop. What a beautiful store. And the Langley Cafe and area was incredible. WE will be back ! Judy, Dave, Lana & Kayla

We thoroughly enojoyed our stay at Maxwelton Beach Cottage. It was easy to settle in and we made all our meals in the well equipped kitchen. The kids loved playing in the yard and on the deck while we prepared meals. We enjoyed dancing to the SIRIUS satellite music on the Dish network. And OF COURSE - the beach was magnificent! We will be back soon!
