We rented the house for a week in late summer. There were 10 of us, 6 adults and 4 kids. The house is really lovely and comfortable with gorgeous views and a nice backyard with tetherball for the kids. The house has all hard wood floors which was a plus for us. The only negatives of this house is that only 3 of the rooms had A/C and there are only 2 bathrooms. We would definitely rent this house again though.

I don't know what I liked best about the location: being close enough to bike to Halibut Point, the 45 minute ride to Boston to take in a show, walking the beach anytime I wanted by going out the front door, or being close enough to walk to town to buy the home made candy! Cooking in the kitchen with the view of the water was breath taking. I loved to end my day, after I put the kids to bed, with a glass of wine by the fire and a steam. It doesn't get better than this.
Owner response:I am so glad you enjoyed your stay! Thank you for your review.

What a great mini vacation. My friends and I spent two nights at the Cottage by the Sea over Labor Day weekend. It was so easy and beautiful. The place has two giant porches and two bedrooms facing the beach. The kitchen is set up for cooking. Rockport is close to a few great beaches. We went to Crane Beach and Wingaerseek Beach which were both awesome. Great weather helped. The rental process was smooth and quick.
Owner response:Thanks Mark. Glad you and your friends enjoyed it. We strive to make it as comfortable for our guests as possible. ~ Brenda
