  • We recently concluded a wonderful week at Serenity, it was the perfect location for our families to gather for a mini reunion, and we have made memories we will treasure for a lifetime. Your home is absolutely beautiful yet completely comfortable...no detail has been overlooked for the comfort of your guests. We enjoyed spending time on the decks with our coffee in the morning or a cocktail in the evening, the kids enjoyed the pool (which is only a few steps away)and the WiFi. The beach is extremely convenient to access, and that water is indescribable! It rivals any beach that we have ever seen in the Caribbean. Thanks so much for providing beach chairs, umbrellas and bicycles for us to use...we also thought it was extremely thoughtful of you to leave a notebook containing addresses and phone numbers we might need, and menus for restaurants you recommmend. We highly recommend this home and do plan to return in the future.

  • Our family had a grand time at 'Serenity'. The house was clean, comfortable and accommodating of all our needs. Several of us came from Dallas and had family from Memphis meet us. We had plenty of room to be together as well as get away on our own. All the stairs were a bit of a challenge for the older parents and a caution for the grandbaby, but we managed well. We had fun watching fish jump out of the air in the channel. We weren’t lucky enough to catch any while fishing though. We highly recommend “Thursday in the Park” (6-8pm Thursday evening at the Visitors Center). We took chairs and a blanket as well as snacks and a bottle of wine. There was music, food and plenty to keep the children entertained. After leaving, we noticed that we had left a cell phone behind. The caretaker was quick to find it and overnight it to us and took great care in its packaging. All in all, our experience was excellent and our time together was a blessing.

  • My family and I enjoyed a great week in this home for summer vacation in mid-July. Our group included my fiance, my mom, my grandparents and my daughter, and there was something for everyone. The home was nice and offered plenty of room for everyone to have some privacy as well as places for us all to gather together. The close proximity to the beach and other area attractions was very convenient. This was our first time to stay here and our first trip to Navarre Beach...I highly recommend both!

  • Not a typical "beach house" but rather a fine suburban home that happens to be located on (or quite near, to be more accurate) an excellent Gulf Shore beach, with a swimming pool steps across the road and lower and upper decks facing a pleasant canal, breezes abounding. All the amenities of our own home, plus the nearby beaches of Navarre--with Pensacola, Fort Walton and Destin in easy reach. And Sara was a joy to work with, as owner/correspondent. All was "as advertised." How rare is that? Would return, without qualm or question.

  • Our family had a wonderful stay in Serenity! The back deck was the favorite hang out. In the mornings it was a place to relax and in the evenings a place to eat dinner and play games. The pool was very convenient-across the street. We enjoyed our trips down to the beach as well as walking through the neighborhood out onto the pier into the Santa Rosa sound. Beautifully decorate! Everything you could possibly need as far as amenities! The kitchen was very well equipped plenty of linens were provided. We'll be back!

  • Serenity is a great place for a family vacation. The Decore is top drawer and whatever you want is within easy reach. The beach, the bay, sailing, fishing or good food, no problem. Not like that "D" word place. Navarre is a good place for a family and Serenity does it with style.

  • We stayed at Serenity in August 2008. The home is exactly as advertised, beautifully decorated and stocked with everything a family would need for a beach vacation. The house was perfect for my family of four and my parents. Thanks to the owner’s thoughtfulness, it was like staying at a close friend’s home. Our favorite activities included fishing off the boat dock, searching for shells on the beach, boogie boarding, renting jet skis and relaxing on the decks. We really enjoyed the quiet and relaxed atmosphere of Navarre. The beach is a 30 second drive or 3 minute walk away, while the bay is approximately the same distance in the other direction. Navarre is also conveniently located between Pensacola (where we saw the National Naval Aviation Museum – highly recommended) and Destin, with its activities, restaurants and nightlife. Both of those destinations were within 30-45 minute drives from Navarre, but afterwards it was very nice to be able to escape back to the peace and quiet that Navarre offers. In summary, this is a wonderful house with a great location. We thank the owner for a great vacation and we are already planning our next trip to Serenity.

  • Our stay at "Serenity" on Navarre Beach was fun, peaceful and relaxing. We fished in the canal, went jet skiing, played in the waves, went for walks on the beach, then enjoyed deep sea fishing and shopping at nearby Destin. The beach house is beautifully decorated and very spacious. Whether you want family togetherness or a quiet area to read a good book, you will find this house accomodating. J. Patterson, Marietta, GA

  • We had the most incredible family vacation at Serenity. The house is beautiful and spacious so there was plenty of room for all 3 generations. Just a few steps away, we casted for minnows in the canal, hunted for salt water hermit crabs, swam in the pool, and collected shells on the beach. Our favorite part of the vacation, however, was hanging out on the 3 decks talking, listening to the waves, feeling the breeze off the bay, and lying on the hammock or swing. We've rented houses before, but Serenity's location and coziness can't be beat. We'll definitely be back.

  • Our family of four and our friends (another family of four) rented this home June of 2006. We LOVED our stay. The accomodations were beautiful. The house lay out is condusive to fun and privacy. The main floor is open which is great for gathering. We used the deck extensively-nightly dinners, a luau birthday party, girl friend time, reading and relaxing. The swing chair on the deck was always in demand. The dock out back was convenient for the boat, jet skis and fishing for the kids. The nearness of the pool (across the street) and the short walk to the beach made this an ideal setting for water play. Being away from Destin was wonderful. Having a washer and dryer on property was a plus. Owners are extremely easy to work with and receptive to suggestions. They treated us as family friends. All our expectations and needs were met. Will rent again when in the market for a beach house vacation.
