Designated as a Coronado Historic Resource Home, Casa de Serena has been meticulously restored to its original 1930's grandeur. Professionally designed interiors and gardens complement Casa de Serena's Spanish Eclectic Architecture. The use of rich fabrics, leathers and luxury linens add to the original oak hardwood floors, the new granite counter surfaces, the new travertine floors and shower enclosure. Old world charm, with all the modern conveniences.

Casa de Serena has been outfitted with two flat screen HDTV monitors with access to hundreds of channels of programming and music, DVD/VHS Player, wireless high speed internet access, DECT 6.0 cordless telephone system and IPOD Docking Station. The outdoor spaces boast two fountains. The tranquil sound of moving water can be heard throughout the property. The enclosed wrap around patio includes lush potted plants, Bistro table with chairs and ottomans, Gas Grill, two beach cruiser bicycles and an all-terrain wagon.

Located in the heart of "the village" Casa de Serena is just blocks from the award winning Coronado City Beach, ranked one of the best beaches in the country, the world famous Hotel Del Coronado and Coronado's main thoroughfare Orange Avenue.   • I have spent several vacations in San Diego, both at Mission Bay and downtown. This was my first experience on Coronado Island and what a delight it was. Casa de Serena is a beautifully restored jewel within easy walking distance to the beach and downtown. It is a charmer with all the amenities one could hope for.   • As annual vacationers in beautiful Coronado, our stay at this lovely historic property was one of our best vacation experiences thus far. The amenities in this recently refurbished historic jewel are top notch with attention to detail, detail, detail. The location is within walking distance to everything - beaches, restaurants, gym, Hotel Del, Ferry Landing. The owner is conscientious and a pleasure to do business with.

  • Just wanted to say that this beach cottage is everything it says it is and more. We stumbled upon the listing on VRBO website and were pleased above and beyond our hopes with our choice. We just returned from a week in Coronado in August and had a wonderful time staying here.It's comfy and cozy, yet luxurious and beautifully decorated as well. As frequent travelers, we cannot rave enough about the owners and their attention to detail in providing us with everything we could have needed!The terrific location and the bikes just added to the treat!
