There is a washer & dryer in the cottage as well. Our guests have remarked that they thought it was very well equipped for any type of cooking.

Western Style Cottage Bordering Rmnp--Open Thanks & Xmas!
Year Purchased: 2004
Why the Owner Chose Estes Park
It's right next door to two other cottages we own, Elk Haven and Eagle Cliff. Between the 3 properties, we have a lovely 4.5 acre setting. It's only about a mile from the entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park, and we love the fact that our back property line borders the park as well. The proximity to Estes Park combined with the outstanding views make it a very special place.
The Unique Benefits at this Cottage
The end of the road location offers such a feeling of seclusion. We love the location and the rural feel of the neighborhood. But we especially love the dramatic view of Longs Peak, the tallest mountain in the area, from the living room, bedroom and front porch.

We had great hiking at the beginning of the week and then, today we woke to the first snowfall. The deer and elk were having breakfast this am. in Deer Meadow's yard! Thanks for the little things: paper towels, condiments, coffee pot with permanent filter. Thanks much!

Our family had a wonderful time in your cabin. We felt right at home. It was stocked with everything we needed. Our first family vacation with our 3-year-old twins was a huge success! Thanks for everything.

Had a great time. Went hiking, white water rafting, horseback riding & saw the dinner show at the RV park. The place was great! We had everything we needed, including two bathrooms.

Great getaway. Really appreciated having a home away from home. The deer and chipmunks are abundant here. The views are spectacular! We relaxed in this quiet setting just the right distance from everything.

We've enjoyed our stay here at Deer Meadow...God's creation is so beautiful! We enjoyed hiking at the Alluvial Fan, whitewater rafting, horseback riding, driving Trail Ridge road and seeing the elk, hiking to Emerald Lake, and relaxing here at the cabin. We've had a wonderful week here in Estes Park and would recommend this place to friends. We enjoyed the view from the big rock to the west of the cabin (it's worth the climb!)
Positive Rating
The cabin was so comfortable and well furnished it made our vacation a great one. There were so many little extras, and they were appreciated. The unit was so clean, we felt at home right away. You thought of everything when you stocked the kitchen. If we had to choose, we'd say the icing on the cake was the washer/dryer & having 2 baths. Estes Park with all its beautiful scenery has always been one of our favorite places and being here for the 4th of July was wonderful. Thank you for the use of your place.
