Our light and spacious condominium is located on the ninth fairway of the Robert Trent Jones, Jr., Waikaloa Village Golf Course. From the large lanai, there is an unobstructed view of the ocean in the distance and of magnificent sunsets .
Unit E105 Waikaloa Villas, Waikaloa Village is a 1200 square foot ground level unit which sleeps six with two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a convertible sofa with a queen-size mattress. The master bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed, a 21 inch HD TV/DVD player and a three quarter bath with a vanity area. The guest bedroom has a queen-size bed and a full bath. There is a full-size washer and dryer in the unit.
Our condo is completely equipped with cooking utensils, dishes, towels, linens, etc. The comfortable living area contains a sofa and love seat, as well as an entertainment unit with TV, VCR, and CD player.
Waikaloa Villas have two swimming pools, each with a Jacuzzi, barbeque grills, and covered eating areas. Our unit is conveniently located between both pool areas.
Guests receive discounted rates of about $60 for golf and a cart-unquestionably the best value on the Island. Of course, there are many other courses nearby. Tennis courts are available at no charge.
The Waikaloa Village Shopping Center is within walking distance. There one can find a large local grocery store, gas station, beauty salon, pharmacy, three restaurants, bank, post office, medical offices, video store, etc. Ten to fifteen minutes "down the hill" are well-known resorts and beautiful white sand beaches for snorkeling, boogie boarding, and other beach activities.
Twenty five minutes in another direction is Waimea, an old cattle ranching town with many fine restaurants and shopping. The old sugar plantation towns of Hawi, Kapaa, and Honokaa, as well as the lush valleys of Polou and Waipio on the Hamakua coast are easy drives from the village.
The Big Island holds too many treasures to enumerate: Kailua/Kona, a center of small town charm and updated shopping areas, Kona coffee farms, Mauna Kea’s summit, Akaka Falls,the other-worldly landscape of Kilauea, our country’s only truly active volcano are to name a few. |
