A classic Palm Springs home conveniently located in the desirable south end of Palm Springs is available for your vacation experience! This comfortable, tastefully furnished private home was designed for indoor-outdoor living, with an extensive, shaded lanai providing ideal transition space between the living and dining room indoors and the very private pool & spa compound outdoors. The pool water is swimmer friendly, non-chlorine. The one quarter acre property is surrounded by a privacy stucco wall and shrubs, with large driveway gates at the entrance.
The spacious, open living and dining area includes a comfortable seating area with two sofas adjacent to the fireplace, and second seating area by the piano. Dining may be indoors, with the dining room next to the kitchen, or al fresco by the bar on the lanai. Outdoor cooking on the back patio is available with an in-line gas ~BBQ~ grill.
Up to 8 guests may enjoy this Palm Springs vacation rental home, with a Master Suite and King bed overlooking the pool area, as well as two Queen bedrooms and 4th bedroom with two Twin beds. Three indoor baths, with an additional outdoor private shower.
The kitchen is fully equipped, with gas cooktop, icemaker, blender, microwave, dishwasher, coffeemaker & toaster. The home includes all modern conveniences, with ceiling fans in all rooms in addition to central heat and air conditioning to maximize indoor comfort all twelve months of the year.

Wireless high speed Internet access permits guests to check email indoors or outdoors. This warm, colorfully furnished villa comes complete with linens, towels and pool towels, and plenty of outdoor furniture. This vacation home is conveniently located in south Palm Springs, not in the windy north end of the city. You should be sure any home you rent in Palm Springs is NOT located in the windy north end of town. Being outside by the pool in the windy area can be an unpleasant experience.

This property is the perfect getaway. I highly recommend it. We come down each year for a golf trip in January and it is the perfect home base. Kitchen is well stocked, outside grill connected to natural gas, the pool is fantastic. Thanks Ron

This is a lovely, well-maintained home in a great location. It worked out perfectly for our 6 adults and 2 little ones. The owner has stocked the home with everything you could need, and was very helpful. We'd go back in a minute!

We stayed here for the week after our wedding, and it was wonderful! Ron was great, he was there right when we showed up, and gave us a tour letting us know where everything was. The house is fully stocked with just about everything you need. Everything was clean, and the grounds were beautifully manicured. We had the most relaxing time, the pool and jacuzzi were great also. I think the only one who had a better time than us was our dog! Because the grounds are completely gated in, we could have our dog run around all day, it was excellent. We went to the nearest Costco to get loaded up on food, and we cooked and drank all week. We will definitely be returning next year!

We just spent 3 nights at Sun Villa and thoroughly enjoyed the property and all its amenities. Ron has outfitted the home with practically everything you could imagine to make your stay comfortable and entertaining. Unfortunately the weather was unseasonably cool but that didn't stop us from making extensive use of the pool - still comfortably warm despite the 59 degree air temp. At night you can sit in the hot tub and stare up at the lodge lights at the very top of the tram. The interior of the home is extremely clean and well maintained and the landscaping is perfectly manicured. Only word of caution is some of the decor is not very kid friendly (think large glass vases), but we just stowed those in a closet for the duration of our stay to avoid any accidents. We would definitely consider returning - hopefully to more typical Palm Springs sunshine.
Recommended for:People with disabilities, sightseeing, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

We stayed at Sun Villa for 3 nights over the Thanksgiving holiday. Our stay was fantastic. The home is tastefully decorated and very clean. It is just like the pictures shown on the website. It has all the amenities listed on the website and we were very pleased. We enjoyed using the gas fireplace in the evenings as well as the wonderful Jacuzzi. The kitchen had all the necessary items for cooking meals and plenty of dishes and silver wear. We cooked all our meals at the house and the kitchen is well designed. The refrigerator has filtered water and an ice dispenser, which we were grateful for. The outside patio has lots of seating. The large pool is very nice and you have the option to heat it (which was worth the extra charge for this time of year.) We used it every day. The garden and pool area is well manicured and has a great mountain view. It was like an oasis with all the pretty plants and palm trees. Our family of 4 (2 adults and a 13 and 17 year old) and our friend’s family of 4 (2 adults and a 11 and 14 years old) were very comfortable in this home. The 4 bedrooms and 3 baths worked perfectly for the amount of people and the beds were comfy. There were plenty of towels for all of us. The laundry off the kitchen was convenient for washing our clothes and towels. The home is in a good location. It is close to downtown shopping and there are 2 grocery stores, a pharmacy, a bank and a Trader Joe's in very close proximity. There are tons of restaurants around but we did not dine out. It is a short drive to hiking trails and parks. The neighborhood is safe, quiet and well maintained. The home has a large driveway with lots of parking and was gated and locked so we felt secure at night. While we were visiting we went up the mountain on the gondola one day and spent a lovely time on the top of the mountain. It was a beautiful view from on top & there are some pretty hikes you can take as well as play in the snow. We really enjoyed it. Admission is a bit pricey but well worth it if you spend the time to hike around and take pictures. We also went to old town and walked down the sidewalks & window shopped. It was fun reading the stars on the sidewalks like in Hollywood. The (modern) Art Museum was interesting too and free on Thursdays. The owners were very nice and accommodating & took pride in their home. We will recommend Sun Villa to our friends. We will definitely be back again! Thanks for the hospitality.

This home is very well appointed and very clean.....Lots of room, our group of 5 were very comfortable....the yard and pool is like shangri la!!!!!! After a day on the golf course cocktails in front of the beautiful fireplace finished our day before dinner....within a cab ride to all the great restaurants!!!!!The location is perfect.!!!!!!.....Lots of great golf courses near by.....We all had tons of fun and hopefully will be back again next year...Ron you were a pleasure to deal with thank you from all of us..OLE!!!!!!! We would ALL highly recommend this location.

I have rented a few house through vrbo before and while the others were okay this place was amazing! It is a true gem! It was spotless, roomy, organized, and tasteful. The pictures do not give this place justice. The only dissapointing thing about my experience was that our vacation was not long enough. I cannot wait to rent this place again! This was the best vacation we had with friends in palm springs, ca at this house.. very clean, house is full of everything you need kitchen and etc. very nice big saltwater pool. very quite and nice are and near ralphs and other markets The owner is super nice and good to deal with. We would use this house next time and all the time that we are at palmsprings...

We just had another great time at your beautiful house. This is our third year back and we will be there again next year. We have even added another day to our trip for next year. We love-love-love the pool. We are out ther most of the day. The yard is just beautiful, and the humming birds really are fun to watch. The house is always so clean and cozy. Upon arrival to our Family Summer Vacation Rental Home we were greeted by the owner, a very friendly, helpful and kind gentleman who took the time to show us everything. As he gave us a tour of his home we were taken back by the beauty of the large welcoming pool, lanai, and beautifully landscaped yard. The interior of the home is tastefully decorated, comfortable and accomodated all our needs and wants. The home is located in the middle of all your shopping needs and wants, very easy to get to and find. A residential area that understands and respects privacy and beautiful upkeep. The home is completely private with a fence surrounding it and has a security gate. It has a beautiful view of the mountain, and the sunsets in the evening while lounging in the pool or yard at night are so tranquil with its lights shining on the palm trees and cactus to give such a relaxing setting. This truly was Paradise for our family of five for the month that it was very hard to say good bye, but could never imagine going anywhere else and are already planning our next visit back!!
